Who Is More Country? Jeff Foxworthy Vs. Larry the Cable Guy

I’ve followed comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy for more than a decade. They’re true to the blue. That’s why Jeff and Larry are the richest comics in show business.
Did you read about their upcoming tour together? It’s generating a lot of buzz. I’m thinking about buying a couple of tickets.
Whenever Foxworthy gets on stage, he makes rednecks comfortable. Rednecks get Goosebumps, when Larry the Cable Guy comes to the stage. Without question, the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? host is a much safer bet than the Delta Farce. Sometimes, Larry the Cable Guy embarrasses you.
But they can’t say he cheats you. As a standup comic, the Cable Guy still stands as one of the best buys in my book of comedy. What is more, this generation coming up is arrogant and entitled.

Back in Larry’s day, children respected their elders. Nowadays, nobody values anything. I like Larry because like Kevin James, he sweats the small stuff. In other words, the relatable comic cherishes the tiniest of kind gestures. Clearly, society has changed too quickly. Does Jeff Foxworthy lose the message to his story as a result?
I admire how Jeff doesn’t aimlessly throw jokes at you. The man pitches his material like baseball legend Randy Johnson with crazy velocity. While he’s on the mound, his opponents fear for their livelihoods.
Both comics appeal to blue-collar workers. But, I believe white, pink, and green collar workers can value their celebrity offerings. They have a ton to offer the comedy sphere.

If you’re going to a Monster Truck Rally or WWE tournament, tag along with Larry. If you’re attending a hockey match, Jeff is your guy . Although they are both similar, we must value their differences too.
For what it’s worth, Jeff Foxworthy doesn’t stay in character. On the other hand, the Cable Guy is a marketing invention designed to spruce up ticket prices. Anyway, Larry busts your gut all the same.
If Larry is comedy’s Kenny Chesney, that makes Foxworthy Blake Shelton. After a long day of work, you deserve to play their comedy on Blu-ray. I bet a donkey, you’ll laugh your ass off.
In a crowded field, they have mastered their brands and distinguished their art forms. How did Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy reach top status? With your help… these comedians became the cream of the crop.
They wouldn’t get anywhere without a dedicated Southern fandom. Truly, they have followers all around the country and the world even. But, you can’t deny the power of Southern hospitality, which brings me to my final question. Who is more country?

What Esperanza Spalding Can Teach Jhene Aiko

Ever since the dawn of civilization, music artists have expressed themselves through vocals and instruments. In the Renaissance Era, society experienced classical songs from Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach. The 1960s and 70s produced the Woodstock generation. It’s amazing that after all of these years, billions of folks still listen to music. The fact is music makes us civilized human beings.

One human being with the right stuff is Esperanza Spalding. Originating out of Portland, Oregon, Esperanza enjoys making fun with her soft voice and hardcore strings and instrumentals. Dismissing her as merely a jazz musician doesn’t do anyone any justice. She is also Classical, Hip Hop, Rock, and Pop.
In essence, Esperanza Spalding has bought her freedom to do anything and everything.
Moreover, the music expert can teach Jhene Aiko about the sophistication of creating masterpieces. Hopefully, Jhene will continue climbing up the charts, because she hasn’t peaked yet.
Thankfully, the Los Angeles native is accustomed to sunshine. So Aiko doesn’t fear becoming famous, because she was born in an ecstatic State. That’s why her measure of success is different from the average bear.
It doesn’t hurt that Trey Songz and Big Sean are her neighbors. At the same time, it is practically impossible to love Hollywood unconditionally. That’s when somebody like Spalding comes in and saves Aiko’s cute little face.
You see Esperanza loves entertaining but with conditions. You won’t see the musician apologizing for her expressions and beliefs. Don’t you wish more celebrities were unfiltered like this?
How did we become a coffee addicted world used to filters? The reason you see celebs deleting their tweets is because they’re not in control. Occasionally you’ll find audacious and outspoken celebs, but the media discounts them, and doesn’t send their messages to the people. I go to Taylor Swift Google Plus and Twitter, because I want to know what’s going on in her mind and not a corporation.
If the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ singer follows Spalding’s teachings, then we don’t need to worry.
Fortunately, music makes sense out of the incomprehensible. Do you believe humanity might come to a standstill without song and dance?

Like Salsa entertainers, Esperanza Spalding and Jhene Aiko blend up their compositions. Spalding should insure her gifted hands for $10 million. Furthermore, she can teach Aiko all about Jazz, and how to play the cello. Aren’t both girls dazzling creatures?
If Esperanza is a sweet potato pie, then Aiko tastes like the rainbow. When you’re an unsolved mystery, people turn into detectives. How much do we actually know about celebs?
Why is Spalding so intriguing? Is it because the musician isn’t entirely forthcoming? Only a select few know about Esperanza’s secret. If Jhene Aiko demonstrates a willingness to learn, I’m sure Esperanza will divulge information.
I like Jhene because she thinks about the long haul. Take her ‘I Know’ music video for example. But you must live in the now!
In this day and age, pop culture has amassed untold riches and powers. Everything has a slant. If you want to be on top, grind the edges everyday.

Don’t just talk about it; determine what is your calling card. Aiko needs to focus first on the art like Esperanza. If she produces works of art, then she’ll be in the best position to take care of business down the line. It’s a long journey, but I believe these superstars are on the right track.

How Pharrell Williams Became Popular

The Voice coach Pharrell Williams created ‘Happy’ and the rest is history. Honestly, I didn’t like the song at first. You see, I thought it was a rip-off of the nursery rhyme “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.” But you could argue “there is nothing new under the sun.”
I changed my mind about the song after realizing its effect on people. Mass hysteria overrides prejudices. For the record, I’ve always liked Pharrell Williams because he’s a cool cat.
It’s that the world just recently discovered his coolness and greatness. Pharrell’s personality draws people in. Plus, the musician simplifies complex rhythms.

Is Pharrell a rapper? Or is he a singer? No doubt he uses his voice to create good music. What is music but a universal language?
Pharrell became popular by first collaborating with top talent. Before going solo, he was a part of the Neptunes and NERD. Initially, like Dr. Dre and Kanye West, he was in the back of the studio making hot beats.
Snoop Dogg took a liking to him because of his keen ear for music. That’s how come Pharrell made major contributions to hits like ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Drop It’s Like It Hot.’ Also, the artist helped develop ‘Blurred Lines’ with Robin Thicke.

Unfortunately for them, the late Marvin Gaye’s family won a lawsuit against Williams and Thicke. Nonetheless, the song was commercially successful. Furthermore, Happy was a world famous phenomenon.
What if more rappers chose to create positive songs? You see I enjoy all types of music. However, there is more than enough room for every sound.
I admire the musicians who act responsibly. Can’t we hold celebs accountable? After all, don’t fans buy their products?
In short, expect Pharrell Williams to keep swinging for the fences. So long as he’s up at the plate, he’ll make the most of it. He has an opportunity to become a walking and living legend like Reggie Jackson.

Appreciate the Comedic Genius of Kevin James

I’m firmly against censorship. I admire celebrities that take chances. Don’t you appreciate comedians, because they say whatever the hell they want to say? If everybody is politically correct society as we know it is over!

I like Kevin James because he’s upbeat and all over the place. He takes his audience into his own little world like a hostage taker. He won’t let go of you until he gets what he wants.
Do you watch King of Queens reruns? That TV show has it all. King of Queensdoesn’t shortchange you, in large part because of Kevin James.
I’m singing his praises because he’s one of the best comics left standing. Do you remember Last Comic Standing? Did you know that Kevin James was discovered on a similar show called Star Search?
You know Kevin kept winning. And don’t we love winners? Though his TV show ran its course, he had an amazing ride filming movies. No matter how corny the plots may be, James makes it happen.

I’m not saying Botox but Kevin James looks younger than his age. God blesses some people with great genes. What is more, Kevin is comfortable in his skin.
He plays minor roles like Hitch. And he leads the way in movies such as Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Zoo Keeper. Did you see Grownups and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry?
I believe Adam Sandler and Kevin James push each other to the extreme. If you ask me, they’re both great comedians, but James is better. Sandler comes across as insensitive at times. You rarely read about Kevin James being a bigot, because he stays away from controversy. 
Still, you appreciate the comic because he delivers beefy material. Plus, he presents jokes in a professional manner. The comedian proves it is possible to have fun, without making fun of your audience.

Appreciate the comedic genius of Kevin James.

Have you heard Carlos Santana’s electric guitar? How can I describe the creative sounds of Carlos Santana? Imagine paradise.
Have you noticed the best entertainers are eccentric? Like other celebrities, Santana has pet peeves. You see the music artist knows exactly what he wants do, and where he needs to go.
After nearly 50 years of activity, he hasn’t slowed down yet or missed a beat. It’s safe to say he follows the law of self-preservation. How about sipping some champagne in his honor?

If you desire to master the science of electricity, apprentice under an electrician. If you desire to master the arts of the electric guitar, utilize Carlos Santana as your mentor. What is more, the dynamic music artist is willing to teach.
Nowadays, finding exemplary entertainers is extremely difficult. Understandably, no one wants to lose his or her edge. That why some singers seem sketchy.
They think one hit will suffice. That’s when you realize how precious the Mexican sensation is to true artistry. You know that Santana sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears.

Plus, his passion resonates with people. His music connects with Latin America as well as the whole world. I’ve heard him do some things I thought only Jimi Hendrix could do.

Who else can make his guitar talk like Oprah? What other guitarist receives as much respect as Carlos Santana? If you search his music catalog, I guarantee you’ll find hidden gems. Discovering this music artist is similar to walking on the moon.
Finally, his sound harmonizes a performance. Singers can feel his powerful presence on a song. How amazing is this musician?
It is a magnificent sight beholding his beautiful music. Don’t you enjoy his creative sounds? Unfortunately, practicing day and night won’t get you to where Santana is now.

I believe his abilities are God-given.

John Mayer Vs. Mark Ronson: Who is the Best Entertainer?

Is it ever too late to learn how to play the guitar? Instrumentals are just as invaluable as vocals. Does John Mayer’s voice beat Mark Ronson’s instruments?

Without question, Mayer’s vocal chords destroy Ronson’s, because Mark doesn’t sing. Who do you think is better overall as a complete entertainer? For me Mayer is more talented, but Ronson is more creative. 

To simultaneously play an instrument and carry a tune exceptionally well like the ‘Gravity’ singer, requires phenomenal skills. However, Ronson’s creativity scores are unbelievable. Remember he scratches and cuts records in addition to producing.
Why do you think everybody wants to collaborate with the ‘Oh My God’ hit maker? For two things, he is invisible and invincible.
Right now Mark Ronson is hotter than John Mayer. But that might change in the near future. Mayer is seeing Katy Perry, and you know Katy keeps bleeding his love.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling John messed over Taylor Swift pretty badly. That’s why it seems she made ‘Bad Blood’ with a vendetta. But what girl wouldn’t want to date the $10 million man? That’s right, according to Billboard, John earned over seven zeroes last year.
In contrast, Mark maintains a low profile. Some people prefer working behind the scenes. Sometimes great directors make more money than the greatest actors. In a sense, Mark Ronson is the Michael Bay of music.

‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Feel Right’ are definitely two songs in my queue.
The difference between Mark and John is, I don’t believe Ronson wants to be famous. But, Mayer seems to care immensely about his popularity. In entertainment, fame and money rarely come separately. And of course, bullshit is included too.
Actually, John plucks the strings stronger than Mark. Clearly, Ronson’s sound reaches more ears because he has an array of associated acts. For the most part, Mayer’s only musical companion is his trusty guitar.

Overall, I choose John Mayer as the best entertainer because he is a consistent storyteller, who has punctually arrived.

Charlize Theron Vs. Uma Thurman: Battle of the Blondes

In a recent story, I wrote about the Astronaut’s Wives Club. Coincidentally, Charlize Theron starred in a movie called the Astronaut’s Wife. There’s one blonde in Astronaut Wives Club, Yvonne Strahovski, and she leads the way.

Charlize Theron plays Will Smith’s estranged wife in Hancock. The South African actress helps define beauty. Her long hair was more than gorgeous.
You like Charlize because she’s flexible. She stretches roles like in a Pilates video.
You can’t say enough about Uma Thurman. She is fantastic in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. Have you seen Gattaca? The actress is literally perfect in it. It’s one of my favorite movies starring lead actor Ethan Hawke.
I wonder if it is possible to transpose actor’s characters. Can you imagine Theron under Quentin Tarantino’s direction? Better even, what if Charlize worked with John Travolta?

Uma has done all those things. That’s why she has an advantage. But the war is still going on, and there will be many battles to come.
You see Charlize has a net worth of $110 million, compared to Uma’s $45 million. Why is this the case? Well, Theron has an entire industrialized nation behind her.
When you’re the most famous South African celebrity, you call some big shots. Plus, your marriage to Sean Penn dramatically assisted your career accolades. Also, considering Charlize is 39 to Uma’s 45, she has an age advantage.

At 5’ 10” Charlize Theron has the ideal figure of a fashion model. Plus, the green-eyed chick possessed natural blonde hair. However, at almost 40, is it possible she shed her locks because it’s turning gray? Still, the Mad Max: Fury Road actor is sexy as hell.
And so is Uma Thurman. If you met them in person, could you distinguish the two celebs? Or is it impossible to tell the difference like Jennifer Garner and Hilary Swank?
I like Charlize’s body better. But I appreciate Uma’s body of work more. If Tarantino is the top R-rated director, then Thurman is his most prized possession.
