Who’s better between Beyoncé and Alicia Keys? Is Alicia Keys the best singer and Beyoncé the best entertainer? I feel Alicia’s singing is superior although Queen Bee has got a big Ego. Jokes aside, Beyoncé gives everything to you.
If I had to pick, I’d chose Beyoncé 10 times out of 10. She delivers the total package in the form of singing plus dancing. She mesmerizes you on the dance floor.
Alicia doesn’t dance enough. Gratefully, she plays the keyboard though. Can you picture Alicia as your waitress? “Give me the special with the hot chocolate” all night. You Don’t Know My Name
Look, Beyoncé is on another planet right now. She’s in the news nonstop because of Lemonade. But Alicia Keys just released In Common yesterday. Without question, it is a hot single. What is more, you can pull it up on YouTube/ Vevo and listen to the New York girl.

Maybe Keys should have waited to put out her song. Rihanna postponed her plans for Adele’s album. Is Alicia Keys stepping on Beyoncé’s toes or using her as a steppingstone? By all accounts they seem like BFFs. But we’re talking about the music industry here, aren’t we?
The entertainment value of Beyoncé and Alicia Keys is extraordinary. I know it is unfair to compare Beyoncé and Alicia Keys… but life is unfair, isn’t it?
The Beyoncé takeover is in full effect. She’s my #1 favorite pop star and this won’t change any time soon. Alicia Keys makes my top 10 too. For the record, I own both their albums.
Still, Beyoncé isn’t flawless; “She’s a bitch in the morning. We don’t know why we love her.” Yes, Alicia Keys sings the best, but Beyoncé is the best singer.
It’s not always about hitting the high notes. Sometimes it’s more important to hit that low note.

Why Drake Wins the Rap War

There should be a law requiring Rihanna and Drake to make songs together. Who wants to help circulate this petition? Every time I drive past the 10thintersection, someone plays Work on her radio. How many times must Drake sing you should get done and come over?
Drake changed everything with Hotline Bling. Even U.S. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump parodied Drake’s music video on Saturday Night Live. The Canadian rapper has attention from VIPs and that’s why he receives VIP perks. If there’s one celebrity you want in your squad he is Drake. Justin Bieber’s cool too, but Drake’s named after an international explorer.
In this day and age of Internet Explorer, news travels fast. Bad news is supersonic speed. The Toronto Raptors love their loyal Toronto rapper. In fact, Drake said, “All I care about is money and the city where I’m from…” Nowadays loyalty seems rare.
There’s too much short term thinking and not enough long term strategizing. You’ll enjoy this piece called Pitbull Vs. Drake RAP BATTLE. You see like Pitbull and Selena Gomez Drake is an international celebrity. He can go anywhere and be recognized. That’s why he needs bodyguards and top of the line security.
A lot of rappers fake their status. Drizzy doesn’t have to because those Forbes documents are solid. His endorsement deals compare favorably to prominent athletes. Like Kobe Bryant, he signed on the dotted line with Nike and Sprite.
What’s more, his place in music is undeniable. I feel Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper. And Drake is the best rapper right now. Yes, the rankings fluctuate depending on Kanye’s Twitter activity.
Finally, in the field of war battle losses are expected. Eminem was once a superpower for a long time. However, at this stage of the game Drake wins the Rap War. Why, you ask? Because I said so…that’s why.

The angelic voice of Ariana Grande is unlimited. Ariana sounds like a harp when she sings. You would think vocal cords have certain limitations. However, the pop singer defies conventional wisdom every time she plays her natural God-given instrument.
You see hitting high notes requires superb skills. That’s why Ariana Grande’s throat is a treasure cove. Sometimes it seems her neck can’t bear all that pain, but she stretches to her breaking point like a disciplined yogi.
The 22 year old’s body might be pint-sized but she has a gigantic voice. Moreover, the Focus songstress is determined to become a legend. Right now I believe she is an elite entertainer with some room left to grow.

Fans flock to Ariana Grande concerts because they know she’s capable of being number 1. I’m sure you’re quite familiar with Disney princesses. Well, Ariana is a Nickelodeon princess. She was a teenage star on the VictoriousTV show before becoming a superstar.
Although she’s only in her 20s, Ariana Grande has accumulated tremendous experience. I predict the pop princess will create numerous chart-topping hits in the foreseeable future. Music has never been more commercialized. I see this trend working in Ariana Grande’s favor- not because her lyrics are catchy- but because she is the prototypic dreamgirl. In other words, she delivers, baby!

Ariana Grande’s popularity is soaring. With 55.2 million Instagram followers and counting, it’s hard to tell her what to do. Still, everybody should listen to constructive criticism.
I believe Rihanna and Gaga can teach Grande how to handle fame because they became famous in a different way. A wise man once said: “there’s more than one way to skin a cat.” Guru Jay says “remember only to take advice if it’s good.”
I would like to wake up to the angelic voice of Ariana Grande. Also, I would like to go to bed listening to Ariana Grande. OMG (Oh My Goodness), I think I’m turning into a super-fan.

Why Sia Is Unique

Right now, Adele is making headlines for Hello and 25. And Rihanna is expected to release ANTI anytime. Finally, Sia will unveil her new album This Is Actingon January 29, 2016.
Listening to music is good for you. The next time you play a song, consider singing along. Currently, I’m Alive by Sia is on my playlist. I find myself reciting the words and humming the catchy tune. After closely examining the lyrics, I am impressed by the songwriting.
Sia won’t be forgotten. That’s for sure. Her style reminds me of Cher. She can belt out ballads with such great ease. Moreover, Sia is the most creative music artist out there.
I like Lady Gaga a lot, but Sia’s creativity is unmatchable. Kanye West can’t even express himself more creatively than Sia. Let me stress I’m not knocking anyone.

I only want to praise the Chandeliersinger’s gifts. It is wonderful listening to Sia. Who else can turn their voice into a trombone?
The Australian songstress isn’t bound by location. She built a strong fan base organically across continents. What is more, her lyrics contain meaning.
She serves a purpose. She’s not singing about sex or glorifying drug culture. Her music is about struggle and empowerment.
Did you know she’s collaborated with rappers Eminem and Kanye West on the songs Guts Over Fear and Wolves, respectively?

“Selfies” are a new concept popularized by Kim Kardashian. The reality TV star “published” a book with pictures of her body in various poses.
Sia doesn’t seem to want fame. Who could blame her? However, the singer continues recording and performing because she realizes her incredible talent is a blessing. Sia is unique.

Is J.K. Rowling writing Adele’s lyrics? Is this the best-kept secret in entertainment? How else do you explain this domination of the music business? While I don’t believe the Harry Potter author is her ghostwriter, I do believe Adele possesses supernatural abilities.
What does the water department put in their drinking water over there? The singer’s vocal chords sound refreshing. Once again, there’s something special about the English sound of music.
Like J.K. Rowling, Adele will collect royalty checks forever. She recently released a new song entitled When We Were Young. Three weeks prior, she treated fans to the tune of Hello. I predict that Hellowill gather over 1 billion YouTube views within a year.

The one and only Adele is the meaning of greatness. While she was away she literally improved her vocal chords by undergoing throat surgery. Moreover, her mechanics have never been better.
What are your favorite Adele songs? I can’t listen to Someone Like You and Rolling In the Deep enough. Will you buy her new 25 album?
Just when you thought Sam Smith was the only one, Adele sends a timely reminder of her brilliance. Instantaneously, Hello has replaced Stay With Me. If Adele doesn’t win a Grammy in February, I don’t know what to tell you.
Right now, Adele can win any award she so desires. I know to call Adele’s music like J.K. Rowling’s books is a big stretch. But, both celebrities handle the media similarly.

After Harry Potter ran its course, J.K. Rowling kept her distance. And that’s the way I like it uh huh uh huh. The singer gave us precious songs, and then took a hiatus. Fans appreciate meticulous and talented individuals.
Like J.K., Adele created her own little world. Although the Set Fire to the Rain songstress doesn’t deviate from the standard, she sets the bar high. Her return to music has caused an earthquake in the industry.
Suddenly Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are back on their heels. I support perfect competition. And I’m a fan of expert performers.
Say what you want about Hollywood. But it’s where dreams come true. We are lucky Adele pursues her passion. Let’s give a warm welcome back to the Hometown Glory singer.

If you’re planning on partying this weekend, you’re bound to hear Nicki Minaj’s music at the nightclub. DJs like playing Anacondafor obvious reasons. Sir Mix A Lot said it best, “baby got back!” Oh, yeah.
Females connect with Nicki because she raps about her lifestyle before and after success. Her message empowers girls to dream for better, not worst. Being like Nicki Minaj means you can have nice things if you try to attract it.
Nicki is not pretending to rule the Hip-Hop world. She really is a rap queen. She could have been a video girl, but early on she saw the bigger picture.

Moreover, Nicki doesn’t hold her tongue. If she has beef with someone, she’ll let it be known. You must admire a person that wont back down from a challenge.
At the BET Awards she called out rappers not writing their own lyrics (mainly Iggy Azalea). And at the MTV Awards, she spoke her mind about the show’s host Miley Cyrus.
You see Minaj expresses herself in explicit language because true rap is “street.” Don’t confuse her with this new breed. The music artist reflects Tupac and Biggie. Nicki Minaj falls in the middle of Eminem and Rihanna talent wise.

Moreover, she won the rap battle against Iggy Azalea in a landslide victory. Who can deny that Minaj is the best female rapper in the game?
Nicki is super-talented. Have you heard Feeling Myself featuring Beyoncé? The rapper’s flow is incredible. Also, Only with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown stirs controversy like coffee, because it’s too hot.

Plus, Minaj has one of the sexiest figures in the entertainment industry. That’s why the celebrity graces the covers of Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Ellie, and Vogue. I believe Nicki Minaj’s image is worth 1 billion dollars easily.

Britney Spears is back in full swing. She made a major comeback after going through a rough patch. Ironically, the Oops I Did It Again singer is reclaiming her throne once again.
This is an exciting time in music. Adele has officially returned. Plus, Rihanna is everything and everywhere. What else do you want?
There won’t be another Britney Spears because Twitter forever changed how the public engages with celebrities. The days of fan mail are long gone. When I worked at the paper, I used to receive letters from fans everyday.

Like many celebs, Britney Spears obtained fame and fortune at an early age. That’s why it seems like Miley Cyrus is 40 and Usher is a senior citizen.
Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera meant the world to music. Recently, Spears has been showing off her skills. She’s under contract with Planet Hollywood for 2 more years.
That’s great because celebrities need steady paychecks in order to maintain their luxurious lifestyles. Can you believe Britney Spears spent $7 million in one year? In her defense, Mariah Carey spends a ton of money too.
