You see, people subscribe to HBO solely to watch the fantasy TV show. Moreover, the show is sensational. It’s so sensational that it has become a part of popular culture. Whether we are talking American vernacular or British jargon, everyone is familiar with dragon eggs by now.
Game of Thrones means the world to HBO. George R.R. Martin has built an ironclad brand. Plus, the producers are cash-cows to the cable TV network. We haven’t seen anything quite like Game of Thrones in the history of TV. What other show is setting records in the seventh season? That’s unheard of. I believe the show’s secret is the introduction of new characters and the elimination of old characters.
HBO recently stated the channel’s intellectual property had been compromised in a cyberattack and hacking. Material from Game of Thrones was released on the world wide web ahead of schedule. It seems scenarios such as these are becoming commonplace. Before HBO, Netflix was hacked. Before Netflix, Disney was hacked.
It is interesting that Game of Thrones is becoming more and more popular. I believe Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen is a major reason people watch. Emilia Clarke is a fine Hollywood actress, who fascinates the audience.
I love Game of Thrones because fantasy has always intrigued me. I grew up loving J.K. Rowling and the Lord of the Rings. Game of Thrones is a current inspiration to me and millions of others. Along with watching the TV show, I encourage you to read the books. See firsthand why Game of Thrones is the number 1 TV show.

Michael J. Fox remains my favorite celebrity since childhood. Who can forget about Life with Mikey? Growing up, I used to watch Family Ties reruns and Spin City episodes with a passion. Man, TV was a lot different then. I can’t tell you how many times I saw the Back to the Future franchise on TBS, NBC, ABC and ‘you pick a station.’
I’ve been wanting to blog about Michael J. Fox for months. I couldn’t pick a better time than now to publish this post. Sometimes, you have to go with the flow and surf the waves.
It’s a celebration of Michael J. Fox here at Guru Jay. This phenomenal person happens to be a phenomenal actor as well. Despite living with Parkinson’s disease, Michael continues to shine his light. I don’t believe that he realizes his powerful effect on people as an actor and advocate.
A few years ago, I recall watching Doc Hollywood withmy mom and big brother during a snowy winter night. It was right around Christmas and we were in the spirit eating cookies and drinking hot chocolate. We watched a lot of movies around this time, but I only remember seeing Doc Hollywood.
You see just when we thought we had seen every Michael J. Fox movie we came across Doc Hollywood On Demand. Watching this movie remains one of the best family bonding moments because of Michael J. Fox’s perseverance. I didn’t know while filming that the actor started showing symptoms for the first time and trembling. In spite of physical challenges, Michael J. Fox delivered a body of work to behold. Celebrate Michael J. Fox for his acting and activism.
People love reading success stories and watching inspirational movies. Moreover, a great celebrity motivates fans. From Rocky and Rambo to the Expendables and beyond, movie star Sylvester Stallone succeeds because of his desire to achieve greatness. What would happen if more celebrities followed Stallone’s blueprint and aimed to be exceptional models instead of being targeted photo ops?
When you reach a roadblock or come to a dead-end, right then you must figure out how to move forward. First, my advice to you is to take a few steps back, so you see how far you’ve come already.
