I grew up on Destiny’s Child (pun intended). Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams were the premiere music group of their time. Who remembers when I’m A Survivor played on the radio non-stop?

Moreover, Destiny’s Child is responsible for adding words to our vocabulary such as Bootylicious. I bet Beyoncé and the girls unintentionally recruited for the Army with their Soldier song. Who recalls in that video Solange Knowles was pregnant?

Solange is an unofficial Destiny’s Child member. For years, many fans anticipated Solange to officially join the group. Right now is the perfect time for Destiny’s Child to reunite for a tour. Why not include Solange in the mix?

Let me explain my reasons. First, Beyoncé could use it for her legacy. Second, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams could use publicity. Lastly, Solange could use the tour to launch a future album.

Didn’t Beyoncé use Destiny’s Child as a launching pad? Can you imagine how fans would respond? This is a winning proposition.

As a marketing practitioner, this would be your dream. In the words of Kelly Clarkson, “some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.”

Destiny’s child deserves an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Additionally, Solange Knowles deserves a Grammy. But to earn one, she needs a chance.

Let Solange seize the opportunity before it’s too late. We’ve witnessed many entertainers fall into traps. All too often, singers are held back because record labels won’t put money up for their promotions. Some movie producers are guilty of cutting corners and slicing budgets.

Solange is a unique artist similar to Erykah Badu. I like her style. She’s free.

She should debut a new album soon. I believe the talented singer could go platinum if somehow she joined Destiny’s Child for a reunion tour.

Gwen Stefani replaces Christina Aguilera on the Voice this season. I will miss the soulful Lady Marmalade’s presence. But I’ll get by playing Erykah Badu and Jill Scott music.

If Tyrese Gibson and Mark Wahlberg are brothers from another mother, then Badu and Scott are sisters from another father.

Everyone enjoys the best things life offers. That’s why women spend countless hours shopping for the right handbag to go with their brand spanking new designer jeans.

Erykah is eccentric and Jill is classic. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re getting with Badu. And you receive your monies worth with Scott’s performances.

Who’s got soul? They do!

These soul sisters create crossword puzzles with their lyrics. Plus, their distinct voices sound heavenly. Erykah sings riddles and Jill channels Maya Angelou.

Erykah and Jill are supreme singers. You can’t have a Hip-Hop conservation without mentioning them. What is more, their spiritual songs take you on a journey of discovery.

They bare their souls and expose their essence. If you want music without boundaries, if you need passionate deliveries, then play Erykah Badu and Jill Scott on Pandora. Like Lauryn Hill and Janet Jackson, they are natural phenomena.

Nowadays, celebrities hide behind hash tags. It seems they all care about breaking news. Ask yourself why they are pushing the same agenda. Do any of them think for themselves?

Now the Window Seat singer hates groupthink. Erykah Badu makes it clear where she stands in her video. Likewise, Jill Scott goes against the grain of popular culture when required.

Badu and Scott would make excellent Home Economics teachers because they understand the importance of sisterhood. Additionally, they give back beyond their communities in various ways. One thing they share in common is their compassion for people.
