Great comedy can bring people together. Some standups don’t know how to relate to everyone. That’s why you see instant backlash and isolated people at shows.

It is important to win the crowd over and get them on your side. Not everyone can do this effectively. Greatness takes time, dedication, and practice. The best in showbiz don’t become famous overnight.

Russell Peters is one of the greats. He belongs in the best standup comedians conversation. You see Russell engages in risky behaviors and his audience loves him for that.

This comic will make fun of anybody. Hell, he’ll even make fun of himself. When you’re not afraid to tell jokes, you sell out crowds easier. Moreover, he tackles challenging subjects in a sarcastic manner.

Born in Toronto Canada, he qualifies as one of the funniest Canadians. Plus, his Indian background contributes a great deal to his material. You could compare him to Aziz Ansari but there is only one Russell Peters. Make no mistake, his style and delivery are unmistakeable.

Many of his jokes are unrepeatable, of course, because they are NSFW (Not Safe For Work). In other words, repeating his comedy at your job could get you fired. So, proceed with caution. Tread on thin ice if you don’t want to offend anybody.

Everyone must know the importance of timing in standup comedy. Russell Peters delivers like Amazon, right on time. Right now is Russell Peters time to shine. The celebrity is singing You Are My Sunshine on his way to the bank. He has a lot to be happy about.

The 46-year-old is one of the highest paid comedians according to Forbes. He makes $21 million per year. That’s almost as much as LeBron James’ take home pay. I highly recommend watching his Almost Famous standup special. And I look forward to seeing his future work.

It seems Shawn Mendes is the new Justin Bieber. He is dominating YouTube and Twitter. I would argue that his name is more famous than Taylor Swift in Canada. But can there really be another Justin Bieber?

Shawn Mendes just turned 18 years old, and now he has the whole world listening to his music. Remember Justin Bieber got off to an early start too. Isn’t that something… they’re both Canadian?

Outside Germany, Canada brews the best beer. Outside America, Canada breeds the best singers. Give extra credit to Drake and the Weeknd.

Mendes isn’t old enough to drink alcohol in the United States. However, he’s able to entertain drunken crowds. Maybe, they should increase the drinking age to 24 because that’s when the brain’s fully developed. Or maybe they should lower the drinking age to 18 because that’s when men and women go to war.

Shawn Mendes puts the ‘S’ in Showbiz. Everyday he works hard on his craft to get better. Does he have to Show You? His sound is similar to Nick Jonas‘s Chains. Plus, the Stitches singer knows how to stitch up a track like Lil Wayne.

It’s scary in a good way. You see Shawn still has untapped potential. Picture the young celebrity joining up forces with 5 Seconds of Summer on a possible tour. What if he made an entire album with Fifth Harmony? Let’s hope Camila Cabello stays the course, although it appears she may go solo.

Music needs more Mendeses’ and less one hit wonders. Yes, I love catchy lyrics like you do, but let’s ask ourselves- what’s the catch? Let’s stop sacrificing great music for good.

Everybody has asked is Shawn Mendes the new Justin Bieber? My answer is NO. He is big enough to be his own man. You’ll see.

Listening to Alanis Morissette sing is like floating on a cloud and down a river. You adore Alanis because she radiates spiritual energy. Absorbing Alanis Morissette goes beyond music.

Her soulful lyrics provoke all types of emotions. Furthermore, Morissette’s music reaches everyone because she sings about happiness and hardship. The singer realizes music is a reflection of life, and she mirrors images of mankind with fine-tuned harmonies and melodies.

Alanis is on another level lyrically. Can you imagine Morissette writing lyrics for Adele, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift? I like all of them, but I believe they should outsource their songwriting duties to Alanis Morissette.

Fans and critics love Alanis due to her longevity and relevancy. The legendary musician released her Jagged Little Pill album in 1995. Can you believe Head Over Feetand Hand In My Pocket came out 20 years ago?

Right now the You Outta Know singer has won 7 Grammys. Plus she has sold over 60 million album copies.

I admire Alanis Morissette because the multi-talented entertainer refuses to be categorized.

Boy, she blows that harmonica better than most country girls. The dual Canadian and American citizen creates beautiful sounds.

People are jealous of Alanis because she’s doing what she loves. Alanis Morissette is original. Therefore, the passionate artist expresses her feelings in various ways.

Fortunately she found her calling early in life. “Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.” You know Morissette can finally be free.

The long hair brunette earned the right to relax more than just hair. After numerous tours and recording sessions, Alanis should start self-actualizing. I believe she recognizes her worth and won’t back down from anything.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs suggests that there are five levels of human needs. Reaching the final level is rare. Alanis Morissette has demonstrated she’s on another level. Astronauts are floating in space while listening to Alanis Morissette. She is literally universal.

Do you want to rock out with Pink or Avril Lavigne? What are your favorite Pink and Avril Lavigne songs and music videos? Pink gets up in your face, while Avril plays hard to get. It feels like they’re both 40 year olds because their careers have been huge successes.

I believe Pink is the best performer. She’ll do anything to please the crowd. Still, Lavigne is more popular because of her Canadian roots.

You see this happens all the time. Talented Canadians take over the entertainment world. Take Drake and Justin Bieber for instance.

If Justin were from Boston instead of Toronto, he’d have an average career. I’m not advocating becoming a Canadian citizen. All I am saying is Avril has a significant advantage over Pink because of her background.

Pink originates from the city of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia proudly calls her daughter. The great musician represents her hometown well.

If blondes have more fun, that explains why Avril is always jumping. Like Pink she controls crowds by pandering to their desires. But I want to rock out with Avril because she’s more energetic.

Plus, Avril Lavigne is sexier. In the entertainment industry, sex appeal counts. Pink is sexy too, but in a different way.

Now I like Pink’s style because she grinds harder than most entertainers. Her music videos are better. However, I appreciate Avril’s consistency. You never know what to expect from Pink.

Pink is worth watching though, because she executes daring stunts. Do you remember when she sang while being suspended in the air at the Grammys? I believe Pink can fly!

On a serious tip, Pink makes socially relevant music. She champions causes such as animal rights. Did you notice she’s wearing a PETA shirt in the photo? Avril Lavigne is also a PETA supporter.
