What’s new? I’ve been enjoying the summer and thinking about you. Whenever I see a star shining or fan stargazing, I can’t help but get excited. I was inspired to create a Twitter Community which you’re welcome to join. It’s called Stars & Fans. I haven’t personally invited anyone because I want organic growth. If you want to help, I would appreciate it.

I love entertainment even though there’s a fair share of haters. The haters don’t see it the same way as the lovers. Are you a lover or a hater?

Music, movies, and TV are mechanisms of soulful productions. Every song, film, and show do something to the spirit. Without music, movies, and TV our society would be at a severe disadvantage.

I’ve been blogging now for nine years and am still learning a lot about stars and fans. One thing I know is that a common thread unites stars and fans. It’s a trek not a war. Or in the words of H.E.R., it’s the journey. Nowadays, celebrities walk a tightrope and the statement that it’s a thin line between love and hate couldn’t be further from the truth.

MUSIC

Many musicians are on tour right now. Snoop Dogg tweeted on July 5: “Tour time.” Of course, I retweeted. Doggystyle turned 30 years old. To this day, I play songs from the album. Can you believe that?  “What’s My Name?” He has hot lines. Snoop is one of the best rappers.

Did you know Taylor Swift added fourteen more dates to her tour? When her tour first started, she was only touring the United States and Argentina. Going to concerts in the summer seems like a fantastic idea. Also, Harry Styles is doing it big.  

Don’t forget about Drake either. Drake held a concert in Detroit and got fined over $225,000 according to All Hip Hop for staying past curfew. And Cardi B is back at it again in the studio writing and releasing new music. She’s a force in rap and fashion, you better believe it.

MOVIES

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One comes out soon. In 2 days everywhere, the results will start trickling in and we’ll have some monster numbers. How do you think it will do at the box office? I’ve said before that Tom Cruise can’t lose. @MissionFilm should’ve put DJ Khaled’s All I Do Is Win on their soundtrack. Also, I might see this movie three times. 

Barbie: Are you excited about seeing Margot Robbie shine in the film? Have you heard Billie Eilish’s song What Was I Made For? The full song, which is a part of Barbie’s soundtrack, will be released in 3 days. 

Oppenheimer: Do you want a motion picture experience like no other? Oppenheimer is expected to give the audience a bang for their buck. Director Christopher Nolan’s $100 million film stars a dream cast. J. Robert Oppenheimer was a real man who made a real impact on the world. That’s why it’s important for the story to be told the right way. Going back to World War II days and retelling events requires a dynamic vision.

TV

I wanted to write about what’s new on TV but because of the Writer’s Strike there’s really nothing new. Do you know how much I was looking forward to seeing Pete Davidson return on Saturday Night Live as host? 

So, there you have it. That’s what’s new in music and movies. Of course, I could have blogged about more topics, but I’ll leave it there. Who wants to read a wordy blog? It’s about making your words count, not the word count. In the meantime, you can find me on Twitter and Instagram. For what it’s worth, I haven’t joined Threads.

Have you tried yoga? Do you have trouble finding the perfect fit of yoga pants? Scientists say there are many benefits to this highly regarded exercise. With careful stretching and proper poses, you could make major improvements on your flexibility and posture in no time. What is more, you could get that body you always wanted to have in that swimwear this summer. 

Yoga is more than a workout. It involves meditation and relaxation. There are breathing techniques and other points to consider.

The following celebrities have gone on record proclaiming their love for yoga. They are noteworthy yogis. Would it interest you to know how they started practicing the exercise? That’s the aim of this blog.

The Oscar Award Winning actor wrote a best-selling book called Green Lights. He had a conversation with Sadhguru where he discussed Karma and yoga on Instagram. In the memoir, he goes in depth about philosophical concepts.  Everyone has a story about how they have arrived at a particular point in one’s life. Matthew McConaughey is one noteworthy yogi who reached a peak point.

Jennifer Aniston started doing yoga more than 20 years ago with a celebrity trainer and friend Mandy Ingber. Having someone to help her focus made all the difference in seeing results. As an actress, yoga gives her body the look and feel she wants. 

3. Colin Farrell

The celebrity has been practicing yoga for at least a decade. In a 2013 article with Access Online, he explained how he does it everyday with a class of 30 to 40 students. What’s great about the exercise is the social aspects.

4. Jessica Biel

The actress started doing yoga in her 20s and said in the process she found herself. Yoga not only affects the body but the mind and spirit as well. In addition, Biel has a lot on her plate as a wife and mother of 2 and yoga helps her destress. Although it’s difficult, she finds 20 to 30 minutes each day to perform  yoga activities.

5. Justin Timberlake

Number 5 on the list is Jessica Biel’s husband Justin Timberlake. It’s been reported that Timberlake and Biel find time to do yoga together. Working out with one another might help them maintain a strong and healthy relationship. 

6. Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson is another celebrity yogi and 6th on the list. Here is an interesting fact about the star. She became interested in yoga while pregnant with her first daughter. Now she is a noteworthy yogi with an assortment of stretches and poses. 

7. Gisele Bundchen

What can you say about Gisele Bunhchen? With a body like the Brazilian supermodel it’s only natural she does yoga? Like Number 4 on the list, she started doing yoga in her 20s. She loves meditation too and meditates every morning at 4:30 am.

If you don’t want to do yoga, I understand. Though you may want to consider something similar. There are alternatives such as Tai Chi, Pilates, and Qigong.

I decided to make this list for anyone who wants to live a healthy lifestyle. Lately, Hollywood stars have shined in the media and on social media. We’ve seen Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and Tom Holland in India. Celebrities are constantly promoting products and selling something. It’s the nature of the entertainment industry to A.B.C. (Always Be Closing) But I believe the biggest product a star or anyone can promote is oneself. Let’s do big things in 2023. Zendaya Is a Top 5 Actress Under 30

In the morning the sun comes up and the rays touch the skin, the grass, and the flowers. Stars shine like they’re supposed to at night. Happiness spreads throughout the air. This spring we will enjoy each moment. 

I like to see the stars shine. Zendaya is a superstar. When Beyoncé comes on the radio, I think about the Versace on the Floor model and actress. Does she need to wear a golden dress to delight? I don’t think it’s necessary to gain the right attention. 

Zendaya Delights All Day and Night Long

Give Zendaya some credit. She’s been in show business for such a long time and is still hard at work. In fact, she delights all day and night long. What is more, she calls the shots.

The entertainment industry appears vast but in actuality it’s a small world. For instance, did you know the same man behind Euphoria is behind Malcolm & Marie? I highly recommend both productions.

Euphoria is so popular and made my list of top 10 TV shows to stream. Zendaya brings so much to the table. She’s classy and picture perfect. Are you an Euphoria fan? What do you like about the TV series?

You may have come to know the superstar through fashion. When she wears any kind of gown, it seems to sparkle no matter what. Thanks to having a good team on her side, she can make fashion statements.

I’ve been following this celebrity for years and can say she’s nothing short of amazing. It impresses me how she deals with the media. Without question, the Spiderman love interest is taking on the World Wide Web haters. Her relationship with Tom Holland seems to be real. You can only wish them the best. 

Where would you put her in Hollywood’s top 30 actresses under 30? Is she easily a top 10 on your list? She’s in my top five right now. 

I feel like she deserves more recognition. On the one hand, the celebrity dominates television receiving one of the highest paydays in the business. On the other hand, the actress is not receiving big money from the big screen. Of course, such a beauty is heavily endorsed by corporate sponsorships. But pay equity for Black women in Hollywood has a long way to go.

Actors have to jump over hurdles and often sprint when in reality the whole thing is a marathon. They must compete against each other, which is unfair. Zendaya is someone who’s worked hard and overcame obstacles. Like a professional athlete, she’s well conditioned and can endure the challenges in front of her. I’m looking forward to her upcoming movie Challengers. 

Born in Oakland California on September 1, 1996 Zendaya was made for this. By this, I mean everything entertainment and more. She’s not only won two Emmys but a Golden Globe as well. She delights in nearly every speech she gives. Every time she arrives on the red carpet jaws drop and heads turn. Some draw comparisons of Zendaya to Halle Berry. 

To be blunt, beauty is her name. The great thing about her is that she’s gotten off to a great start. Her youth is an asset in the entertainment industry. 

With 174 million Instagram followers, Zendaya appeals to a massive audience. What is more, in  addition to making movies, she makes moves. Whoever photographs the superstar deserves a raise. The pleasant celebrity has been on everybody’s radar for a while. In 2016, Forbes named her to the 30 under 30 list.

Expect a world of possibilities from Zendaya because she’s just getting started. In closing, the celebrity represents success and her story is a joy to watch. Remember to enjoy each moment like a celebrity.

John Wick: Chapter 4 Countdown: A Time for Action

John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming in 4 days. Have you bought your tickets yet? Are you excited as I am about seeing it? Expect action at its greatest core because of the great actors and director.

I can only blog good things about Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski. Many are familiar with Keanu Reeves and his rise as a star but do you know anything about the John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski? Did you know the director is a professional stuntman himself? It’s amazing what the Internet teaches you. Sometimes the directors don’t get enough credit because the stars outshine them.

What is your favorite John Wick movie? I like John Wick 3: Parabellum co-starring Halle Berry the best. Like always, Laurence Fishburne did an awesome job too. The third one came out in 2019 and grossed over $327 million at the box office. Can you believe the first one came out in 2014? It is still going strong after all these years. 

They Had to Make Another One

John Wick 4 is not only an action but a neo-noir film. That combination puts it in a unique category. Fans will enjoy the components of the script. Expect big numbers at the box office. Could it dethrone D.C.’s Shazam: Fury of the Gods? We shall see. 

After researching the film I’ve discovered some things worth sharing. First I must inform you the plot is out of this world. I haven’t got the chance to read the script but it seems well-written judging by the actors’ lines in the trailer. I’m looking forward to seeing the new character they created called Akira played by Rina Sawayama. She seems like an ideal addition to the cast. 

The Reviews Are In

If you follow my Twitter handle, you would know I Retweeted Rotten Tomatoes recently. The critics have spoken and gave John Wick: Chapter 4 high marks. In fact, the film received a certified fresh Tomato score of 93 percent. Most of the time Rotten Tomatoes gets it right. I don’t think the consensus is wrong about John Wick 4.

This is the highest rated film in the franchise. When it is all said and done, it wouldn’t surprise me if the box office numbers exceed north of $250 million. Prepare for anything. Like the Scream 6 movie with star Jenna Ortega, no one predicted such success.

Although this movie was shelved and initially had a release date of May 27, 2022, March 24, 2023 is perfect timing. Spring just started today and that means it’s time for action.

A Time for Action

John Wick: Chapter 4 will keep fans on the edge of their seats. There’s so much anticipation. I can’t wait. Are you ready for some action? We’re 4 days away from a dynamic viewing experience. How far have they gone to achieve the affect they want on the audience? Will you go see it in theaters or wait to buy or rent? Could you come back to the website and comment after seeing the movie?

I blog about movies because they portray the human experience. It amazes me how actors create vivid imagery for people to see. Cinema is a form of life and work of art. As someone who enjoys the John Wick franchise, I appreciate Lance Reddick and his role as Charon. Throughout his career, Reddick played different roles that influenced a multitude. Keanu Reeves dedicated John Wick: Chapter 4 to him. I want to use my space on this website to honor him for all his prolific work. May Lance Reddick rest in peace.

Yesterday, Taylor Swift began The Eras Tour. You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t heard about this tour. Come out of that cave and read a great blog today.

As you may know, Taylor Swift tickets broke the Internet. Previously, Ticketmaster had problems fulfilling pre-orders. It was such a huge disaster that the company issued an apology. Now the situation’s all fixed and Swifties can purchase their tickets without a hitch.

Are you a Swift fan? Will you see her live in concert? Have you listened to her latest albums?

I’ve listened to Lavender Haze and Midnights. This is some of her best work. You can tell the star’s been hard at work on her craft. 

It’s safe to say Taylor Swift is one of the top singers in the world. The 33 year-old musician beat a million odds and became great. Everywhere fans are ecstatic about The Eras Tour.

Wasn’t the Wait Worth It?

Today, I will blog about my expectations of the tour and thoughts about this celebrity’s new music. Nowadays, it’s getting harder and harder to please fans. The truth is you can’t make everybody happy. However, you can work on fine-tuning your talent and gift.

Taylor Swift is truly talented and gifted. That talent and gift has been established for about 15 years. One song that comes to my mind on her new album is Lavender Haze. Maybe you’ve seen the music video. What do you take away?

To me, the song means that everything must come to a standstill and people must recognize reality for what it is: anything you want. For instance, there’s a verse where she sings everybody sees me as a one night or a wife. Those are some powerful lyrics written by Taylor Swift and true.

Society puts people in categories and expects them to conform and play roles. Swift is using her new music to break free out of the box. Taylor Swift can literally be anything you want.

I would argue we’ve not only turned celebrities into villains but fantasies. The image we see on the screen or even in person is not necessarily real.

My takeaway is this is her time as well as everybody else’s. In fact, the main message behind her music is that this is her time. But she’s leaving the ego out of it all by also suggesting this is our time too.

There are plenty of Swift songs to enjoy. Snow on the Beach and Maroon are two of my favorites. I love Lana del Rey singing the duet.

In total, The Eras Tour will consist of 52 shows from March 17 2023 to August 9, 2023 located in the United States and Argentina. I know Argentina will be excited to see the star. To sum it up, I expect greatness from her in every show.

Perhaps, Anti-Hero is the most popular song from the Midnights album. How many times do we root for the villain in movies? Check out the Anti-Hero music video and ask yourself, have we turned musicians into villains? The video highlights human nature with different character tropes such as the daughter-in-law and the son.I like the lyrics of the song too.  

Did you see her at the Grammys dancing with Bad Bunny? Over the years, I’ve seen this star shine brightly and become big. Now, Taylor Swift is back better and bigger than ever. 

This blog post tried to capture the magnetism of that opening night. Today, I blogged about yesterday and tomorrow. We don’t know what surprises are in store but we’re going to have a great day in the meantime.

I blog about movies, music, and TV. Today, I’ll blog about Paris Hilton, who is a reality TV icon. She’s built and rebuilt a durable brand over a span of time that is respectable. Who remembers her Reality TV Show The Simple Life?

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when I mention Paris Hilton? Maybe, you think about a socialite, model, celebrity, brand, or DJ. Hilton is all those things and more.

I believe this socialite used The Law of Attraction to succeed in life. How else do you explain all her accolades? She is still going strong in the entertainment industry as a celebrity and brand. People feed off of name recognition and the model now gives food for thought. 

The socialite explains how she’s extremely shy in her recent interviews and new memoir. It would be interesting to read her full story. Something tells me she dives deeper than she’s ever dived before in the memoir and reveals her truth. 

How to Handle Fame

Did you know that she reportedly only inherited $5 million? Most of her wealth comes from her working as a celebrity. Would you like to connect with the star?

Isn’t it ironic that the model’s character in The Simple Life is a complex character she created? But everybody loved going to Hollywood parties with her because of this persona. It makes you wonder how much you really know about celebrities, in particular their personalities.

There were 56 episodes of The Simple Life. The first episode aired in 2003 on FOX. It became a crucial shift in television. 


For the first time, people were seeing how others lived. There was less division and more unity. Maybe, producers can remake The Simple Life 20 years later.

Take your mind to a peaceful place. Let’s begin with a walk on the beach. So far it’s peaceful. The waves won’t overtake us. 

Are you into beach clubs? Later, you’re going to attend a party hosted by Paris Hilton. But right now, you’re barefooted and making footprints in the sand. In truth, you don’t know how the day will play out but you thank God you’re still breathing and alive.

Paris Hilton will also be DJing at the party. They say she makes $1 million per night. Her skills will assure you’re gonna have a good time. At first, you walk slowly and take one step at a time. For some reason, the waves have been peculiar. 

You think to yourself: I’m invited and that’s the main thing. You’ve arrived at the party. You’re now part of the crowd. Throughout the day, good things happened because you thought about good things happening. The walk was successful.

The key is to keep your drive in full gear. Don’t worry about the potholes or construction; just keep driving. Like Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton makes it all seem effortless. And her name rings a bell, because she put the work in and played her cards right.

The Oscars 95 Recap: The Year of The Big Picture

Let’s recap the night in this blog post. The night began with the Oscars 95 host Jimmy Kimmel parachuting from the ceiling. And the crowd gave their first applause inside the Dolby Theatre. 

Who do you think came up with that idea? It was an enjoyable moment for the live crowd and the at home audience. After taking off his parachute, Kimmel started doing what he does best…telling jokes. The comedian was full of them.

Avatar: The Way of Water director James Cameron and Top Gun: Maverick lead actor Tom Cruise were absent at The 95th Oscars and Kimmel joked about it. Does the comedian have a point? He said Cameron did not attend because he wasn’t nominated for Directing. Also the comedian mentioned the director’s marriages and box office receipts.

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt gave Guillermo Del Toro the first Oscar for his Pinocchio. His acceptance speech was full of passion as he thanked his wife and lastly his parents. At the last Oscars, Ariana DeBose won for her role in West Side Story and Troy Kostur won for his role in Coda. Next, DeBose and Kostur would hand Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis awards for their supporting roles. When was the last time the same movie (Everything Everywhere All At Once) won both best supporting roles? 

Everything Everywhere All At Once took home a total of seven Oscars. It’s safe to say the film owned the night. I’ve watched a lot of Academy Awards in my day and haven’t seen a night quite like this one in a long time. You could feel the energy at Dolby Theatre.

Did you enjoy the presentation? The slate of presenters were some of the biggest celebrities. There were tons of stars. If you love entertainment, you were impressed last night. Leading up to the event, the celebs arrived on the red carpet which was painted a champagne color this year.

Tom Cruise may not have made an appearance at the Academy Awards this time, but he did attend the Oscars nominees luncheon. He shared a great moment with Austin Butler at that event. I posed the question: do you want Austin Butler to win Best Actor for his performance in Elvis? Fans overwhelmingly answered yes, they wanted him to win. Later, I’ll discuss who won.

Have you heard about the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party? From the beginning of awards season to the end of the afterparty Everything Everywhere All At Once made their presence known. Michele Yeoh made history by becoming the first Asian actress to win a Best Actress Academy Award.

It’s been 21 years since a woman of color won an award in this category. She took the moment and gave a terrific speech about how one never truly peaks as long as one keeps going. Everything Everywhere All At Once went on to win Best Original Screenplay and Best Directing as well. Check out complete winners list here.

Once again, you could feel the energy. In addition, music filled the air and everybody was in harmony. Lady Gaga touched the crowd with her Hold My Hand from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. Then, Rihanna uplifted everybody with Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Lastly, Lenny Kravitz sang Calling All Angels from his 2004 Baptism album to honor the lost stars.

There wasn’t too much commotion or many surprises except Brendan Fraser winning Best Actor for The Whale.

The final applause of the night inside Dolby Theatre went to Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All At Once. It was not only a night to remember but an award season to remember.
