Have you heard the news about Playboy no longer featuring nude models? It is important for every brand to reinvent itself. For 50 plus years, Hugh Hefner consistently provided controversial material to the public. In addition, he made hundreds of stars famous. One such star goes by the moniker Kendra Wilkinson.
Kendra Wilkinson represents reality TV like Bernie Sanders. There’s nothing conservative about Kendra’s platform. In the past, she openly dated an 80-year-old gentleman. Now, the Girl Next Door is married to an ex-football player. What other reality TV star can outshine her resume? The answer is Heidi Montag.

Heidi Montag befriended Lauren Conrad becoming a focal point on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. Later, Lauren and Heidi were reality stars on another hit show called the Hills. Unfortunately for Conrad, Montag dated, engaged, and married her ex boyfriend Spencer Pratt.
So, I ask the question: who is the sweeter reality TV eye candy? Both Heidi and Kendra are drama queens. Also, they always look amazing. But who do you believe is the bigger name?


My short answer is Heidi Montag. This celebrity simply has more reality TV experience than the other. In other words, the celeb has pissed off more people than what’s tolerated. Moreover, MTV not only invented reality TV, they produce the best shows. Who remembers the highly successful Real World?
The entertainment business thrives off celebrities going at each other’s throats. Kendra is a sweetie, while Heidi is pure sugar. Both are processed and superficial. Still, at the end of the day they are two interesting characters.

Who’s Watching the Emmys? Guru Jay’s Preview

Before the Emmys air tonight celebrities are preparing speeches, making last minute adjustments, and putting on their final touches. Celebs can’t neglect a single detail because they might lose treasured scripts. Advertisers are evaluating endorsements. If their Hollywood stars gleam, we’ll see new contracts.
Here’s an analogy for college students. What the Oscars are to movies, the Emmys are to television. TV buffs should tune in tonight.
These are the most talented nominees ever. This year Netflix was the game changer. Netflix earned 34 nominations. Are you a House of Cards, Bloodline, and Derek fan? How couldn’t they nominate a President?
Have you noticed how many prominent movie stars recently received TV shows? It’s great for TV but bad for movies. Unfortunately, it appears actors are being overworked.

Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones earned Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Also, I expect the HBO TV show will win more awards than all others. Without Game of Thrones, TV would be pointless.
Both Blackish and Empire were nominated. Anthony Anderson received a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, while Taraji P. Henson was chosen for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama. Everything Lee Daniels touches turns to gold. So, I believe Henson will come away victorious.
3 months ago I proposed this question: Who is the funniest Amy? The Emmys may answer my inquiry since Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer are competing for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. I’m not Nostradamus. Edie Falco from Nurse Jackie could get it?
Why do the Emmys nominate new and outgoing shows? Also, an established show like Scandal should collect honors before newbie American Crime. Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire deserved recognition while they aired.

I believe Heidi is a rare commodity in Hollywood. Her kind heart and cheery smile make your day. As an America’s Got Talent judge, she came a long way from Germany. If there were ever an Airplane!remake she should play a stewardess, because she has been around the world.
After over 20 years of modeling, Heidi keeps turning heads and rolling eyeballs. She presents her best self in front of cameras without a problem. Have you ever seen the model with a bad hair day? I bet she wakes up looking pretty.
There is more to modeling, then meets the eye. You see, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” That’s why even in superficial industries, you need substance in the end.

Zig Ziglar said something along the lines, “your attitude determines your altitude.” Klum has cultivated her talent and developed a strong mindset. Take away her sexiness, and Heidi still has a solid inner core.
How do you reach this celebrity’s level? In the words of Britney Spears, “you gotta work, bitch.” Aside from reality TV “stars,” most celebs work their fat asses off for recognition.
Most models have several similarities. For instance, Heidi Klum is a splitting image of Tyra Banks. Did you know that the supermodel hosts Germany’s Next Top Model?
People often overlook Klum’s friendly personality. She deserves more credit for her charity and sincerity. Clearly, the British Cara Delevingne can learn a lot from the German juggernaut.

Actually, the celeb is an underrated actress. Her success in modeling overshadowed her film career. She held her ground in Coyote Ugly.
I wonder how much Banks spends in a year. Every time she goes out in public she looks glamorous and fabulous. Tyra branded herself like Oprah.

What is more, she is living out her dreams. I respect anybody with passion. What would America’s Next Top Model be without Tyra Banks?
The businesswoman unapologetically negotiates deals and starts up businesses. Miss Banks maintains credibility. It’s incredible how much she receives the benefit of doubt in the fashion industry.

Keeping up appearances applies to everything people do. You can’t go to work looking nasty. Plus, attitudes can boost morale.
Can you believe Tyra Banks built a career off of her looks? Try Googling “pretty woman” and you’ll see Tyra’s image pop up. Aspiring models should take note of how to diversify their earnings like Tyra. 
You see the celeb doesn’t put all her eggs in one basket. She acts, sings, and gossips. Before Wendy Williams was given her big break, the Tyra Show strutted on TV.
Who could have predicted this? Appreciate how Tyra started small and finished big. I believe the supermodel serves as a wonderful role model for young women.
You can’t deny that Tyra turned herself into an international figure. Moreover, many in the modeling communities consider Banks to be the best ever. Think about her realm of influence.
Sure, she stumbled a few times. But, Banks believed in her brand and star power. “When you wish upon a star, it doesn’t make a difference who you are.” Fundamentally, the devoted Tyra practices an unbreakable philosophy.

Appreciate the Comedic Genius of Kevin James

I’m firmly against censorship. I admire celebrities that take chances. Don’t you appreciate comedians, because they say whatever the hell they want to say? If everybody is politically correct society as we know it is over!

I like Kevin James because he’s upbeat and all over the place. He takes his audience into his own little world like a hostage taker. He won’t let go of you until he gets what he wants.
Do you watch King of Queens reruns? That TV show has it all. King of Queensdoesn’t shortchange you, in large part because of Kevin James.
I’m singing his praises because he’s one of the best comics left standing. Do you remember Last Comic Standing? Did you know that Kevin James was discovered on a similar show called Star Search?
You know Kevin kept winning. And don’t we love winners? Though his TV show ran its course, he had an amazing ride filming movies. No matter how corny the plots may be, James makes it happen.

I’m not saying Botox but Kevin James looks younger than his age. God blesses some people with great genes. What is more, Kevin is comfortable in his skin.
He plays minor roles like Hitch. And he leads the way in movies such as Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Zoo Keeper. Did you see Grownups and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry?
I believe Adam Sandler and Kevin James push each other to the extreme. If you ask me, they’re both great comedians, but James is better. Sandler comes across as insensitive at times. You rarely read about Kevin James being a bigot, because he stays away from controversy. 
Still, you appreciate the comic because he delivers beefy material. Plus, he presents jokes in a professional manner. The comedian proves it is possible to have fun, without making fun of your audience.

Appreciate the comedic genius of Kevin James.

Astronaut Wives Club Pilot Episode RECAP

You know I was an aspiring astronaut. That’s why my Google Plus and Twitter, shows the universe. You see, I fantasized about launching and orbiting deep into space.
I had it all figured out. I would conveniently bypass the moon on my way to Mars and Jupiter. Upon my arrivals, I would settle colonies with Elon Musk and Richard Branson, and vacation on Venus.
Back to story-> I still dream. But, I decided to become a guru instead of Stephen Hawking, III. And, I’m happy with my life choices.
Yesterday, I stumbled upon the Astronaut Wives Clubpilot episode. While browsing TV, I changed the channel to ABC, and discovered the new program just starting. Naturally, the premiere gained my attention.

The TV show is a mixture of Mad Men and Real Housewives. The story takes place in the 1960s. And, the premise is that a Life Magazine reporter reluctantly writes down the experiences of astronaut wives.
What an exclusive club to be in, especially around that time.

Moreover, Astronaut Wives uses real names and images of actual people like John Glenn and Alan Shepard. However, this time it’s not about the men leaping small steps. This time, it’s about the women telling their sides of the story.
Plus, you see how far technology has advanced. After seeing this, you appreciate your ability to communicate swiftly. Back then you couldn’t text, let alone talk on smartphones.
What is more, these redheads possess a protestant’s work ethic. They dutifully care for their husbands and families. Although they don’t despise their roles and positions, they desire R-E-S-P-E-C-T from their husbands.
In a pivotal scene, Trudy Cooper formulates a plot to catch her cheating husband. You see he lied to her one too many times. She is four five seconds from wilding in the 60s.

Are You Binge Watching Orange Is the New Black Season 3?

Netflix decided to release Orange Is the New Black (OITNB) Season 3 earlier than expected. It makes perfect sense to me. You see, you get let out of prison early for good behavior.
OITNB is good TV. Give the writers and producers their credits for excellent character developments. Seeing Piper (Taylor Schilling), and Alex (Laura Prepon), rekindle their relationship is a nice turn of events.
Laura Prepon reminds me of a nice girl I chilled with in my dormitory. Ironically, she was an actress and bisexual too. There was also a lesbian, who acted exactly like Crazy Eyes.

Why does Crazy Eyes always steal the show?
Also, Dascha Polanco plays an interesting role. I look forward to the Diaz character developing. Unfortunately, her story is the most saddening.
The program goes deeply inside criminal minds exposing their harsh memories. The reality of it all is that, these inmates are beating themselves up mentally. That’s why the new drama class is important to their survival. Moreover, it is crucial that the inmates express their emotions and feelings.

Have the 13 episodes lived up to the hype? I’ve tediously watched 4 shows so far. When I give a critique or review, I analyze every detail.

OITNB has stories abound. That’s why it never bores you. It’s always fun and witty.
The series has taken over social media. You’ll see thousands of tweets related to Season 3. That’s why it’s back, in full force, by popular demand.
Have you heard the expression, “there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians?” In this case there are too many Indians (inmates) and not enough chiefs (guards).
