Tina Fey and Amy Poehler cohosted Saturday Night Live recently. Two hosts for one show is a rarity for SNL. When Tina and Amy combine their talents it’s a wonderful sight. We’re walking in a Winter Wonderland!
I am a comedy connoisseur. I indulge only in the finest. I can attest to Tina Fey’s richness.
Funny girl Tina Fey performs at full throttle. Like a Charlie Angel, she is hot and well equipped. Expect the purest quality from Fey.
She should get a show similar to John Oliver and Bill Maher. I thoroughly enjoyed Tina Fey’s Weekend Update. That’s when Fey and Poehler first formed a bond.


Can you imagine Tina replacing Ellen DeGeneres on daytime TV? Did you know Upper Darby is her hometown? That’s close to West Philadelphia, where Will Smith was born and raised.
Don’t you love her satire? Styles win over smiles in showbiz. By working smart Tina Fey built a geeky brand.
The brunette comedian complements comedy variety shows and sitcoms. She was the reason 30 Rock became such a huge success. Additionally Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, is beloved by Netflix “chillers.”

 
Her subtle humor is indirectly infectious. She plays a perfect Sarah Palin. “You betcha.”
Moreover, Tina keeps making funny movies. The Sisters movie receives high marks. The wife and mother of two children starred in Baby Mama alongside Amy Poehler in 2008.
If you’re considering dinner and a movie, I highly recommend Date Night. Steve Carell couples with Tina Fey and they put on terrific performances. Mark Wahlberg makes a memorable appearance flexing his muscles and cracking computer codes.

Laughter is the best medicine. And Tina Fey is the head nurse of comedy. Although doctors take all the credit, everybody knows nurses save the day.
Right now I believe this comedic actress is at her absolute best for she’s a jolly good fellow, which nobody can deny! The celebrity could reasonably rest on her laurels. However, she chooses to continue blessing the masses with her work. You must admire her career achievements.
I appreciate her dedication, consistency, and maintenance. She is built Ford tough. What is better than watching Tina Fey accelerate at full throttle?

How Kelly Ripa Became a Household Name

Wife and mother Kelly Ripa became a household name the old fashioned way. From 1990 to 2002, millions welcomed the blonde daughter on All My Children into their living rooms everyday. Next the playful Pipa played Regis Philbin’s sidekick on live television for a decade.
Today, she is the primary player on the Live with Kelly and Michael team. She shows there is nothing wrong with waiting your turn and playing your role in the meantime. The members know Kelly Ripa paid her dues and that’s why the celebrity receives preferential treatment. She belongs to an exclusive club.
Not many Hollywood hotshots have clocked as many hours as Kelly. What is more, you can count on her delivering the goods. She isn’t shy when it comes to highlighting her attributes.
Every boss would like his employees to have Kelly’s credentials. Pipa does all the little things right. Plus she gets the big ones done properly.
Right now, Kelly Ripa is close to becoming a legend. Her successor will have some big shoes to fill. And no, I’m not talking about Michael Strahan’s ‘Giants’ shoe size.

Jokes aside, Ripa is a very influential woman, especially in entertainment and media. She reached her status by obeying the laws of attraction and self-preservation.

Kelly Ripa is literally a household name because she submitted to both conservative and liberal ideas. On the one hand, Kelly stays in her place. On the other hand, the fun babe is all over the place.
I hope Kelly keeps it up for at least 5 more years. I could use Pipa’s perky spirit as I grow my website. Like a San Francisco 49ers cheerleader- Kelly is a treat. She brightens up countless days with her sweet smile and kind eyes.
I greatly admire Kelly Ripa’s consistency. Despite negative circumstances, she remains positive throughout her journey. I look forward to reading Ripa’s next chapters.

What’s Your Taste? Rachael Ray Vs. The Chew

What’s your taste of cooking TV talk show? Do you prefer only one host to a panel of cohosts? Let’s discuss Rachael RayVs. The Chew.
The Rachael Ray Show has filmed 1,500 episodes since 2007. The Chew Show has filmed 852 episodes since 2011. These shows compete for the same coveted demographics.
I watch both shows sometimes, especially when I want to surprise a special lady with dinner and a movie. I guess I’m used to Rachael Ray. She seems to be the heir-apparent to Martha Stewart.
It’s all about personality. I like Rachael’s bubbliness and sweetness. And Mario Batali is fun.

However, it is Carla Hall who I would like most to cook my meal. She was born and raised in the American South, so you know what that means. Look at the joy she’s serving. Are your taste buds watering now?
I like the others as well. 29 year-old Daphne Oz helps attract the younger crowd.
You see television can serve as a launching pad for a celebrity’s brand. For example, Rachael Ray has her very own magazine called Everyday with Rachael Ray. Plus, the upbeat chef has a reality TV show on the Food Network- Rachael Vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-off.
                                                             
I doubt that the 47 year-old will be retiring any time soon because she works more jobs than Ryan Seacrest. I prefer the Rachael Ray Show because of the celeb’s branding. The Chew is on the right track, but the show has a long way before catching up with Ray.

Although I prefer a panel because of the variety of perspectives and opinions, Rachael is a gift. She’s the closest thing to Julia Child. Don’t you love Rachael Ray’s recipes?
It is a matter of preferences. Both talk shows are entertaining. But, Rachael Ray is better.

Who Is Watching Dr. Ken?

Laughter is the best medicine. And Dr. Ken is the best doctor. Well, Ken Jeong is at minimum the funniest physician on prime time.
Have you made your appointment with the doctor yet? Will you bend over so he can examine your funny bone? Ken Jeong stars as Dr. Ken in a new hilarious sitcom named after him.
Who is watching Dr. Ken? I’ve watched the TV show for a few weeks now. It keeps getting better each episode.
You know sitcoms come and go, but I believe Dr. Ken is here to stay. Credit the casting department for finding tremendously talented people. Do you like Tisha Campbell-Martin?
Overall, this show contains the right mixture of ingredients. Check it out right after a long day of work. Forget about the stresses that pain you.

There are too many criminal thrillers and not enough comedies. Dr. Ken delivers potent jokes in dosages. He noticeably deviates from the norm.
Can Hollywood’s executive producers take more breaks from violence? How about creating more comedy shows for a change?    
You won’t find another show with all of Dr. Ken’s components. It plays to the audience’s curiosities. Taboo topics aren’t off limits. In fact, controversy is welcome.

At Guru Jay, I filter the best entertainment news. Believe me, Dr. Ken is worth watching. Don’t wait until season 5 when the characters are completely developed to jump on the bandwagon.
Right now is a prime opportunity to become a fan. It is important to support shows in the beginning. I’ve seen several great programs get cancelled. Even TV shows with unbelievable numbers get axed.

What Is the Big Bang Theory Without Kaley Cuoco?

What is the Big Bang Theory without Kaley Cuoco? She makes $1 million per episode for a good reason. The Hot Hollywood starletis not only a 10, but also a sizzling brand.
Her chemistry with the Big Bang cast (pun intended) has evolved into perfection. Although Jim Parsons aka Sheldon Cooper is the mastermind, Penny played by Kaley Cuoco is the backbone. Without Kaley, Big Bang would likely lose half of its fandom.
My sister is addicted to the program. Actually, she is the one who introduced me to it. She thinks she’s the smartest of our family. Well, we know who is the most talented.
Most Mondays I watch Blindspot. But every now and then I check up on my girl Kaley. Plus, I watch the TV show in syndication. The question is who doesn’t watch the Big Bang Theory.


Cuoco is a top 5 TV actress because of her consistency. Can you believe the first season aired in 2007? 9 seasons later, this celebrity still looks amazing; and, her acting has gotten better.
CBS’s most lucrative asset is the Big Bang. Moreover, Kaley is one of the network’s most valuable pieces. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the blonde bombshell was given her very own spinoff.
I got a chance to see Wedding Ringer last January. Like Jennifer Aniston, I believe Cuoco is transitioning into movies nicely. Additionally, she reminds me of Christina Applegate in her prime.
You know I could go on forever about her beauty, but let me emphasize her personality. In Hollywood, sex appeal takes you only so far. You need the right attitude in order to continue receiving roles.

Why Zooey Deschanel Deserves An Emmy

I began binge watching New Girl on Netflix this week. I firmly believe Zooey Deschanel is a top 5 TV actress. Also, she deserves an Emmy.
Deschanel recently announced that Megan Fox is filming episodes for next season. Can you picture Zooey and Megan on screen together? Who’s planning to watch New Girlseason 5?
The New Girllead actress specializes in comedic acting. I would like to see Zooey perform standup. Although she isn’t technically a comic, the brunette babe is funny. Maybe she could workout some jokes with Whitney Cummings, who writes on 2 Broke Girls.
From New Girl to New Mother
The new mother nurtures her craft. What is more, acting runs in her family. Her big sister/actress Emily walks around in big boots.
You know it is hard working on a popular TV show. In a way, it is an endurance test. New Girlcompletes about 25 episodes a season.

 

I like Zooey because she’s a sweetheart. The pleasing actress smiles freely. And she conducts herself well in front of an audience.
Plus, she sings her own theme song. She & Him is a nice side hustle. Back in the day, versatile entertainers were common.
Nowadays, most celebrities stay in one square. There are exceptions like Lady Gaga, Jamie Foxx, and Jennifer Lopez. On a side note, who could have predicted Lady Gaga would kill it on American Horror Story (pun intended)?
As Halloween approaches, can you guess your favorite celebrity’s costume? Should Zooey Deschanel dress up as Megan Fox and vice versa? Whatever they choose, they will look amazing in it.

To my main point, Zooey Deschanel deserves an Emmy because she’s the best at her job. As a comedic actress in the lead role, who beats Deschanel on popularity? New Girlattracts more viewers than Inside Amy Schumer and Veep combined.

Who’s Watching? Jimmy Kimmel Vs. Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t go on live, though they call his show Jimmy Kimmel Live. Imagine Saturday Night Live prerecording episodes. Despite this misleading title, I shamefully watch Kimmel more often than the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Overall, Kimmel built a better platform because the offbeat comedian surrounds himself with terrific talents from Cousin Sal to Guillermo to Matt Damon. Fallon works harder and relies on himself more than others. Sometimes, Fallon seems exhausted as if he’s burning out like birthday candles in Antarctica.
Kimmel’s sense of humor is more sustaining, although Fallon is the most entertaining  What will happen when Stephen Colbert takes over after David Letterman? Can Colbert compete with awaken forces Fat Jimmy and Slim Jim? Who’s ratings will nosedive?

From this point forward I’ll occasionally address Kimmel as Big Jimmy and Fallon as Slim Jim. Big Jimmy built his show from scratch, while Slim Jim took part of a hostile takeover. Conan O’Brien should have been bigger than Johnny Carson. Is that the real reason why Jay Leno stalled Conan’s initiation ruining the Tonight show’s ratings and standing? 

I understand Conan has a huge ego, but Colbert’s ego isn’t any larger. O’Brien was simply the best. In fact, Conan was ABC’s worst nightmare.
Slim Jim is highly creative and wildly talented. But Fallon took a shortcut on the roads to riches- road blocking Conan O’Brien. NBC’s executives have made disgusting decisions. Although Fallon serves as a wonderful host, look at how this network treated past hosts and tell me if Slim Jim won’t get eaten alive.
In the end, Big Jimmy is victorious because he’s well established in Hollywood. The real debate is whether the new CBS Late Show with Stephen Colbert can put the Tonight Show to bed. While I’m a Jimmy Fallon fan, I won’t watch NBC until they act right.
