NBC SNL Episode 2 Breakdown: Was This One Great? 

Let’s begin the breakdown recognizing SNL Host Michael B. Jordan and musical guest Lil Baby. Last weekend Aubrey Plaza did a fantastic job hosting the TV show. This weekend was Jordan’s turn. Would he bring as much energy or even more? Everybody had an expectation for him. What was yours?

I felt Michael B. Jordan was going to slam dunk this one. Like the superstar he is, Jordan’s crossover to live television was a no brainer. Before writing this blog post, I learned more about the actor and published another blog post you might enjoy. Who knew the extent of his television presence? The Creed III Director/ Lead Actor possesses a multitude of talents.

It was a solid opening for episode 2. SNL covered the latest in politics as usual and got the ball rolling.  Not too long after Michael B. Jordan came onto the stage, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, and Ego Nwodim came on or should I say came on to him. So far, the TV show was hilarious. Saturday Night Live knows how to play up every tool in their toolkit. By far the funniest thing was Ego showing up on stage in a wedding dress. This one was great. The material was well-written from start to finish. Like Creed, the night was packed with punches. 

Was Lil Baby Pretty Good?

When Lil Baby took the stage to perform the hit California Breeze, it was a wrap. Saturday Night Live had me sold on the night. Michael B. Jordan owned it. Every sketch delivered a ton of value. Just like I tweeted before the show even started, this was TV gold. There were so many elements that combined to make this work seem effortless.

What Was the Skit That Stole the Night?

If there’s one prerecorded skit that stole the night, it was Michael B. Jordan playing the State Farm guy. I tweeted that the insurance companies owe SNL money. All that advertisement can’t be free. This had to generate the most responses on Twitter because everybody was talking about it. Overall, Jordan was all over the place demonstrating his range. He played a water guy and a fireman. Well, he played a stripper dressed as a firefighter with pregnant baby mama issues. 

Last But Not Least

What else should an SNL TV show watcher know about after episode 2? Kenan Thompson had his moment playing a doorman on Weekend Update. Colin Jost and Michael Che are a good team. Lil Baby’s second song was a little more dramatic. It told a story and could crossover genres. Whoever was his pianist was incredible.

Pay attention to Michael B. Jordan!

If you’re an actor or a fan, you must see him shine. On my blog, I’ll see to it that his star shines bright as ever. What more does Jordan have to do for me to convince you he is one of the best of his generation? Here’s an actor whose filmography stands up to the best of them. Talk about Creed I, II, and now III. Plus, there’s Fruitvale Station and Journal for Jordan. His acting skills are on another level. He’s untouchable and unstoppable. Add Black Panther to the fold and we have an amazing entertainer. 

I really like his performance in Journal for Jordan.

Inspired by true events, the film that Denzel Washington directed highlights the best of emotions and raw feelings. The actor does an outstanding job playing a U.S. Army first sergeant. You would think he completed basic training at the very least. What separates Michael B. Jordan from other actors is preparation and dedication.In addition, he is believable as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Without Remorse is a must-see movie. You’ll enjoy Jodie Turner-Smith in the supporting actress role as well. 

Are you a fan of the actor? How long have you followed his career?

Maybe he’s been on my radar for about a decade. I wasn’t too familiar with his work on the Wire. But now, I’m intrigued to look back on his earlier television roles and more. It’s always interesting to see how much a celebrity develops their craft. Jordan can play the superstar (Jack Ryan) or the sidekick (Killmonger). With a reach like his, he can impact the masses with a social media post or PSA.

Tonight, on Saturday January 28, 2023, Michael B. Jordan will host NBC Saturday Night Live (SNL). Are you looking forward to seeing him perform as much as I am?

I can’t wait to see the surprises in store for the audience. Also, I may Tweet like last weekend just for fun. Of course, there’s a chance I might give a pop quiz. Now is Michael B. Jordan’s time to shine. Saturday Night Live selected him for a reason. Doesn’t he have magnetic power? Stars attract attention…lots of it…some call it gossip.

This celebrity is in the entertainment news by personal choice. Do you think Jordan thinks about how much SNL will extend his reach? Or do you think a celebrity of his caliber only cares about awards and merits such as Golden Globes, Emmys, and Academy Awards. What drives him to work every day as hard as he does? Have you seen photos and videos of this man working out in the gym? That’s why I say he’s untouchable and unstoppable. He has a never quit mentality that transfers to the silver screen.

He and director Ryan Coogler have a strong bond. They should work on more films together. Also, I feel Michael B. Jordan has a great chemistry with Creed costar Tessa Thompson. I love seeing them share the big screen. Finally, I can’t wait to watch Creed III on March 3, 2023. Did you know Jordan directed this one on his own?

Elle Fanning Is One of Hollywood’s Hottest Under 25 and Beyond Fine

I love writing about actors, especially Hollywood’s hottest actresses. Elle Fanning is beyond fine. Have you ever seen a star shine as bright as Elle? She has an entire magazine named after her after all. Seriously, her name is huge in Twitter Circles and on Instagram. Right now, you can follow her on Instagram along with 6 million other accounts. Where do I start handing out the accolades? Everything you can imagine Fanning can do on the silver screen. She is the 24-karat gold Bruno Mars sings about…that white gold Michelle Pfeiffer/ Uptown Funk. 

Will we ever see another star quite like Elle Fanning again? At 24 years old, she’s already accomplished what 50-year-old actresses have in Hollywood. It’s incredible how this celebrity entertains a wide audience. Like Jennifer Lawrence, everyone can enjoy Fanning’s filmography. From film to TV and now video games, the actor is presenting her talents everywhere. Yes, check out Newsweek for more on the video game development (Death Stranding 2) featuring the Hollywood star. 

I’m looking forward to every work she’s in because I feel she’s fun and pleasant. Plus, she is equipped with a plethora of skills. With her range and my originality, we can take over the world. All I’m saying is that these past few years have been enjoyable and entertaining thanks in large part to Fanning. 

Does she have Tinseltown’s best smile or what? I’ve followed this celebrity for years, and she’s turned my frown upside down on more than one occasion. There is not a bad script she has yet to memorize. All Fanning needs now is her own superhero movie franchise like Scarlett Johansson, and we’ll start having a discussion on her excellence. This could transform my blog. 

Born in Conyers, Georgia, Elle Fanning is a star like no other. I think you might like her performance in Mary Shelley. There is something about this young lady. In the future, they’ll say she was a classic actress. Will she become the Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts we know she can become? What a time to be alive! We can reflect on and imagine simultaneously whatever we want to. Currently, my attention is on the shining star who I believe is highly gifted and talented. Also, she is a gorgeous beauty who is Hollywood’s crème de la crème. It’s easy to see how she could be Hollywood’s Hottest 25 under 25 and 30 under 30.

Please tell me you’ve seen Hulu’s The Great and The Girl from Plainville. If you haven’t seen them, you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Sometimes I compare celebrities: highlighting differences and similarities. Today, I would compare her with Elizabeth Olsen. Both actors are at the top of their craft on film and television. And both have a big past, present, and future in the entertainment industry. Are you excited as I am about Elle Fanning’s works in progress? Isn’t she a breath of fresh air?

Wasn’t Hulu’s How I Met Your Father Premiere Spectacular Entertainment?

Do you like entertainment? Here I like to inform you as well as entertain. I’m a celebrity blogger who enjoys seeing the stars shine.

Right now, I can’t get enough of Hilary Duff, so I wrote this blog about Hulu’s How I Met Your Father season 2 premiere. How I Met Your Father should be on everybody’s radar by now. If you like lighthearted television comedies, then this TV show will have your wheels spinning. There is a ton of content you can consume in season 1: 10 episodes to be exact and they all pack a punch. Remember each episode is somebody’s precious baby, just like each blog post I write. Read on for my spin on things, specifically season 2. 

First of all, Hilary Duff plays the lead character Sophie. Next, the story is set in present day New York City (NYC). An older, wiser Sophie narrates the story to her unseen son over a phone call via her home in the year 2050. Yeah, this show is futuristic alright. All I’m saying is 27 years is a long time from now. Okay, so there are other characters besides Duff who make the sitcom pleasing too. I really like Valentina, played by Francia Raisa and Ellen, played by Tien Tran. There are so many talented actors on the show it isn’t funny. Where do I start name dropping?

SPOILER ALERT: the father returns to New York from Australia in the premiere. And so, the lead character follows her man’s lead and rekindles her romantic life with him. Like luggage, there’s so much to unpack. There are layers upon layers to this story. For instance, before How I Met Your Father, How I Met Your Mother came into being. Wasn’t Hulu’s HIMYF season 2 premiere spectacular entertainment?

Top Five Game Shows: Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, And More

Let’s have some fun. Take a look at the top five game shows. What if we could play them all in one day? You could watch them all if you wanted.

Have you ever played on a game show? How would winning massive amounts of money feel to you? Could you handle the shock of an influx of cash?

Jeopardy! is first on our list. The trivia game show deserves the number one spot. People dream of becoming a Jeopardy! Champion. That’s why contestants devote tremendous time and effort to the show. Plus, it’s fun playing along at home.

Wheel of Fortune is second on our list. The word game show, hosted by Pat Sajak, earns this spot. Wheel of Fortune has lasted almost 40 seasons with Sajak. We can play along with this game show at home too.

Is comedian Steve Harvey the ideal host of Family Feud or what? That show takes the third slot on the list. We’re considering only a handful of shows, and Family Feud could be a number one answer. Don’t you love it when the players play sudden death? Often whoever has the best reflexes wins.

I grew up on The Price Is Right. It is an iconic TV show that everybody can enjoy. Whose Line Is It Anyway? Drew Carey was the ideal host of The Price Is Right. His personality and chemistry are a winning formula. If you like a fun show with tradition, then this game show is yours to watch.

Let’s Make a Deal wraps up our list. This game show hosted by Wayne Brady has a storied past. Is Wayne Brady the best or what? He is a multi-talented musician, actor, and comedian. Brady brings the X factor element to the game show.

Once upon a time there were 3 princesses: Britney, Jessica, and Mandy. They were three of a kind so to say. At their peak potential, they rivaled one another.

Mandy Moore used to dominate MTV back when Carson Daly hosted Total Request Live (TRL). She could sing with the best of them including Britney Spears. She was more famous than Jessica Simpson at one point in time.

Then, something mysterious happened. She went away- not so much in the physical sense but in the supernatural sense. The pop princess was no longer famous in 2007. Yet, last year she comes out of nowhere like Supergirl all of a sudden.

I call this phenomenon the interesting tale of Mandy Moore. The multi-talented Mandy is a very intriguing specimen and fascinating story. She has her way- coming and going as she pleases. Few celebrities can enter and renter Tinseltown after spending time in Zombieland.

That’s why everybody is interested in Mandy Moore’s projects. This Is Us left fans literally dying for Moore. Moreover, the singer has proven she’s a wonderful actress. Whatever you do, don’t underestimate Mandy Moore’s magnetism.

This pop princess knows how to entertain the masses. From the Princess Diaries to Tangled, she came a long way on her journey. Who wants to be her Prince Charming? At 32 years old, Mandy is still young and vibrant.

Future Hollywood stars should learn from this celebrity. If you want to succeed in the entertainment business, sometimes you need to take it slow. Far too many actors/singers rush their game and don’t get to enjoy the fruits of their labors.

When you’re famous, work-life balance may become nonexistent. So try to be like Mandy who is living like a fairy tale. There’s a reason this princess is making headlines right now.

Can’t Get Enough of Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff has been on my mind for a very long time. I grew up watching the Disney actress perform as Lizzie McGuire. In the meantime, I’ve seen many of her Hollywood movies. One of my most popular posts features the celebrity. Check out Hottest Hollywood Starlet’s Under 30 when you get a chance.

Right now Hilary is making headlines because of the Democratic National Convention and Hillary Clinton. You see the blonde actress is single right now and me too. Maybe, I should send her a tweet or something. I hear she’s working on a dating reality TV show. You know how I feel about reality shows, but I could make an exception for Duff.

What would it be like dating a famous person, not just any famous person? This girl knocks your socks off and rocks your world. Would we vacuum the red carpet together? Would my people call her people? You know the showbiz runaround and the entertainment two step.

Hollywood is a dreamworld. The more I latch onto its ideas, the more addicting it gets. It’s kind of like drinking Coca-Cola from a bottle.

I love Hilary Duff because she’s no nonsense. Yes, Yoga plays a part in her mental makeup. And that’s the thing I’m talking about. 

Brains are more important than beauty. Hilary has stayed out of trouble and made the most of her career. It takes smarts to make it to this point.

Beauty helps though. Boy, that smile is amazing. And those eyes make you melt. 
Plus, Duff is never a buzz kill. She always has something positive to say. When you’re happy, you make other people happy. “I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it.” 
Like the Pointer Sisters, I’m about to lose control and I think I like it. Who else can’t get enough of Hilary Duff?
