Why James Franco Is a Cream of the Crop Talent

In 2007, I watched the IMAX version of Spider-Man 3 starring Tobey Maguire in theaters. It was one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen. I remember identifying with James Franco’s character (Harry Osborn) at the time. Franco was very convincing in his role.

They were going to make Spider-Man 4 but cancelled. What are your thoughts on the new Spider-Man? I haven’t seen the new franchise yet. James Franco is the main reason I like the original.

When I was younger, I watched Freaks & Geeks on TV. I didn’t care if they were reruns. I memorized the theme song “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett. This show, much like That 70’s Show, was a hot topic of popular culture by teenagers. Again, James Franco’s character (Daniel Desario) was relatable. James Franco literally stole the show.

I’ve been a James Franco fan for a long time. He is an impressive guy. Did you know he has a PHD? That’s one reason he is believable in Planet of the Apes as Dr. Rodman. I feel he has earned coveted roles because of his education.

James Franco excels at drama, but comedic acting is his forte. I argue that Pineapple Express is his best movie bar none. Maybe, that’s a little strong but you understand. His chemistry with Seth Rogen is unmatched.

Moreover, James Franco is a Saturday Night Live (SNL) legend. He’s hosted the show four times to date, and I’ve watched every minute of his SNL.
Have you seen 127 Hours? The thespian put his heart and soul into the film. Additionally, he has demonstrated his remarkable talent in a variety of other films.

This Hollywood star succeeds because he takes risks. James Franco sticks his neck out and goes the whole nine yards. That’s why he is a cream of the crop talent.

I blogged about Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen as a major reason people watch Game of Thrones in a recent blogpost entitled Why Game of Thrones Is the Number 1 TV Show. I still stand by that assertion. Without Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones would not be the same though. What Chris Martin is to Coldplay and what Kaley Cuoco is to the Big Bang Theory, Emilia Clarke is to Game of Thrones.

Her character and the actress herself has evolved through the years. This blogpost hopes to highlight or at least shine a light on some of her excellence. In my eyes, Emilia Clarke is the English version of Scarlett Johansson. You can’t deny that her beauty is a factor for fans tuning in every Sunday on HBO. Moreover, you can’t deny that her talent is another factor fans are glueing their eyeballs to their 4K Ultra and HD screens. The equation is simple. Beauty + Talent = Movie Star.

The Hollywood actress turned 30 years old on October 23rd. She started filming Game of Thrones in her mid-twenties. I believe she has became more beautiful and more talented within that time frame. Moreover, she has a good sense of humor and is a pleasant personality, which is rare. I recommend watching a few interviews and getting to know her when you get the chance. I’m providing a brief clip at the end of this post for your enjoyment.

What is Game of Thrones without Emilia Clarke? Her character’s long golden flowing locks are signature to the series. Plus, I can see the show staying in production for another 5 years. You see Game of Thrones is based on a book by George R.R. Martin. Emilia Clarke is appealing to book lovers, especially fantasy genre aficionados in the realm of television. Bringing Spice Girls Back Into Our Lives

It’s an emergency. We’re in the E.R. Room right now. Guru Jay is about to resuscitate the Spice girls. Call it a reunion if you will.

I know what I’m doing. I spent time studying under the best doctors, although I don’t have a medical degree; I’m a Guru damn it. I’m the greatest one you know in fact. I’ve mediated to the music of Dr. Dre. I’m sure you seen some of my Tweets #GuruJay.

Let’s not digress from the matter at hand. I’ve got lives to save. I’ll start with Mel B (Scary Spice) first because she’s a judge on America’s Got Talent; and you know, I scout talent with an eagle eye .

Mel B has 1.06 million Twitter followers, along with 265,000 Facebook likes. She’s made a name for herself ever since the Spice Girls broke up in early 2000. Do you follow her on Twitter and like her on Facebook?

Next up is Mel C (Sporty Spice). Did you know she sold over 500,000 copies of her Reason album? She’s one of my favorites because her voice melts my heart. Nowadays, the Capricorn is keeping a low profile but I expect this to change pretty soon.

The third Spice girl I will resuscitate is Emma Bunton (Baby Spice). I think she’s a wonderful actress. Emma delivers amazing performances in some of Bollywood’s best movies. You should check them out. Moreover, she has the voice for radio and the face for TV. She has hosted the Saturday Show since 2009. Plus Emma presents Breakfast with Jamie Theakston.

Fourth is Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice). She’s enjoying the Spice of her life- Christian Horner. They married in 2015.

Last but not least, I will resuscitate Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice). Can you believe she’s still married to David Beckham? She’s built a name as a major fashion designer.

Now that they’re all resuscitated they can go on their reunion tour.

Kristen Bell: From House of Lies to the Good Place

Celebrity vegan Kristen Bell is in the news because her new show the Good Place is a hit. I expect this program to be around for at least three years. It has all the right elements to succeed. Doesn’t everybody love Ted Danson as well? Or maybe, that’s Raymond but Cheers to Ted.

You get my drift. If Anna Fariscarved her career path out with a machete, Kristen Bell made waves with a surfboard. Many men fantasize about getting CPR from this hot Lifeguard lead actress.

It appears Kristen Bell is done with lying on the House of Lies but she’s still in the house. I watched the first two episodes of the Good Place and I’m impressed. I’m not won over easily. You have to go the extra mile and knock it out the park with me. Having high standards is rare.


Have you noticed how much the celebrity contributes to original entertainment in various ways? She’s a staple on TV from Showtime to NBC. Plus, her Hollywood pictures perform big numbers at the box office. Don’t forget the actor’s doing voiceovers in movies such as Frozen too.

Excluding Frozen, what is your favorite Bell movie? Some of my favorites include: the Boss, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and You Again.

You see Kristen Bell stands at 5’1” but she’s really 6’2” on Twitter. Because being a celebrity adds 1 foot to your height, she’s one of the tallest women in the world. Take Tom Cruise for instance. How tall do you think he is? Tom Cruiseis actually a giant.

I am having fun here. Right now, the blonde actress has a full plate and can retire when she gets ready. Remember it’s never too late to become famous. Many people in the entertainment business get off to a late start. Everybody can’t reach stardom as quick as the one and only Kristen Bell.

Emmys 2016 Recap: Red Carpet and Winners

Could you feel the good vibrations on the red carpet last night?

Hopefully, you got a chance to watch the Emmy Awards. In this blog, we will experience it again. In case you missed it, you’ll also appreciate my recap.

To begin with, the interviews set the tone for the night. There was a little something for everybody. Are you much into fashion and style? Did you enjoy seeing the actresses and actors strutting their stuffs?

We saw John Travolta and Amy Schumerarrive on the scene. Naturally, Amy said something inappropriate. And Travolta was cool like he’s been- for the past 40 years.

The Emmys literally started up their engines as host Jimmy Kimmel hitchhiked with TV and showbiz’s biggest stars. To start it off, he got a little Carpool Karaoke for us from James Corden. Of course, Jimmy was kicked out of the car because of his bad singing. Other celebrities including Julia Louis-Dreyfus kicked him to the curb.

Entertainment award shows are the highlight of an entertaining season. After all that hard work, talent is rightly rewarded by the Television Academy. There were tons of winners Sunday- too many to name everyone.

Jeffrey Tambor was the talk of the Tinseltown because of his performance in Transparent. It seems Transparent owned the night. In fact, Jimmy Kimmel handed Tambor an Emmy when the show first started.

Tori Kelly sang a beautiful Hallelujah honoring the memories of those we lost this year ending with Prince. Louie Anderson won the first award. Were fans pleased to see Mr. Robot take home an Emmy or what? Plus, Game of Thrones and Veep were recognized with multiple wins.

Moreover, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story won big. Courtney B. Vance and Sterling K. Brown took home Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. You also saw Key & Peele receive their respects they paid dearly for on the comedic side. It’s all about sacrifice.

To be honest, the Emmys were dull but enjoyable with coffee. I don’t fault the nominees because the TV shows themselves are incredible. I suggest more music and/or better clips next time. Otherwise, Everything was all good.

Who chooses Keke Palmer? The entertainer does everything right. Plus, she looks good doing it!

Without question, Keke Palmer has her hands full as an actress, presenter, TV personality, and singer. It seems she has too much talent for her own good. I’m a fan because I recognize premium entertainment when I watch it. And Keke Palmer is a premium entertainer. 

What is a premium entertainer? Someone who delivers the best goods and services at the best cost. Keke is never overpaid, although she always works overtime. In other words, Palmer knocks it out the park and puts the ball in the hole. 

How does she control herself? How do YOU control yourself in her presence? The celebrity presents carefully crafted images. What you see is what you get. Moreover, Keke’s unbelievable and unforgettable.

Remember the name Keke Palmer for years to come. She could play First Lady Michelle Obama in a movie. This actress is highly capable of winning Golden Globes and Grammys. Maybe, even an Oscar.

She has incredible range not only as an actor but as a singer too. I spent some time watching her music videos today. Her sound is rock solid. She could shake the ground with that voice. I almost lost track of time looking at that sexy girl.

Right now, Keke Palmer is a major brand name. Who doesn’t want a commercial starring the actress? You’ve seen her face and body on countless magazine covers for a host of reasons.

Crown the Scream Queens star victorious. Also, don’t forget to check out her new movie called Pimp. Keke plays a female pimp situated in the Bronx named Wednesday.

Finally, I choose Keke Palmer as one of my favorites because she’s a professional. The True Jackson, VP star is true to her craft. She can be my Vice President, that’s for sure. She does what it takes, and she has what it takes.

Bow Down to the Queen of Psychedelic Soul: Janis Joplin

Elvis Presley, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson made their marks on the world over. Music was a religion to Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley. And Miles Davis was the common denominator.
Music is a universal language. We wake up and fall asleep to the sound of music. Living on a farm, we may hear crock-a-doodle do first thing in the morning. At night the crickets chirp in synchronization making our sleeping more enjoyable. In the city the cars speed, the helicopters cop, and the train choo choos.
Now drones are the newest music brought to us by Barack Obama. Music can be organized and/or chaotic sounds. Jazz, Rap, and Rock & Roll demonstrate the different potential ranges and dynamic mechanics of music. While pop appeals to our subconscious and lower passions, the Blues showcase a ‘piece of my heart.’

Blues legend Janis Joplin helped change society. The singer stepped on the stage on purpose and carrying a message in her hand. She was well equipped with only a guitar.
The Queen of Psychedelic Soul was a figurehead of 1960s music. What would Woodstock be without Janis Joplin? In a sense, Joplin was a musical revolutionary.
Janis Joplin possessed the perfect tone. She never overcompensated. She always delivered.

American Idol contestant Crystal Bowersox covered Me and Bobby McGee on the show. Who doesn’t sing Janis Joplin’s songs? Tons of musicians strive to become like Janis Joplin because she is a masterpiece.

I love painting portraits and Janis was a fine painter. I connect with Janis Joplin spiritually and emotionally. Although I wasn’t alive for Woodstock, my spirit was there. Janis Joplin isn’t alive right now in the physical but her spirit is here with us.

Beyonce famously sung Bow Down bitches. And bitches bowed down because she is Queen Bey of the Beyhive. You must bow down to Janis Joplin too because she is the Queen of Psychedelic Soul, bitch.
