Tove Lo and Charli XCX collaborated in a new music video named bitches. It was released a few weeks ago. You can find it on YouTube under tovelomusic.

The music video is interesting. There are all sorts of goodies. But I should warn you, it should come with a disclaimer. Tove Lo and Charli XCX push more buttons than the Pussycat Dolls.

I predict tovelomusic will gain more traction. Plus, Charli XCX is at the cusp of superstardom. Both music artists have a bright future.

Tove Lo is 30, and Charli XCX is only 25. They have accomplished a lot already, but their best is yet to come. In 10 years, you’ll read this blog and see how far they came.

Charli XCX is English as an English muffin. And Tove Lo is Sweden’s GNP. The Rolling Stone called Tove Lo Sweden’s Darkest Export. These girls create awesome music. Music lovers can appreciate their devotions to their crafts.

Charli XCX and Tove Lo have built international brand names. Their music dominates the Billboard Hot 100 charts. You expect them to win awards every year.

You can’t deny that Tove Lo makes hits. The Platinum singer’s dynamic hit list include Cool Girl, Talking Body, Moments, and True Diaster. Charli XCX has a great deal of potential. Tove Lo can relax some because she’s been there and done that. Habits (Stay High) was a collosal hit.

    I discovered Dua Lipa on Twitter. Not only can she sing her butt off, she has smart fashion sense too. In a way, she is a lot like Bebe Rexha but bigger and better. Moreover, the British singer has sung her way into the hearts of millions of fans.
    If you desire hot music, this hot songstress can sing it for you. She also models. In fact, she got her start in showbiz as a model.
Do you think she’s a hotter model or singer? One thing is for sure: she is hot. It’s ironic Dua Lipa even made a song called Hotter Than Hell.

    Dua Lipa seems to be high caliber. She’s extremely popular in the United Kingdom; and in a matter of time her fame in America will skyrocket. You could argue she’s already there, but she’s not quite a superstar.
    I look forward to more of what Dua Lipa has to offer. She’s on top of her game. Plus, she’s bold. I believe she has done a superb job launching her career. She’s not afraid of the spotlight. I blogged about Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen as a major reason people watch Game of Thrones in a recent blogpost entitled Why Game of Thrones Is the Number 1 TV Show. I still stand by that assertion. Without Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones would not be the same though. What Chris Martin is to Coldplay and what Kaley Cuoco is to the Big Bang Theory, Emilia Clarke is to Game of Thrones.

Her character and the actress herself has evolved through the years. This blogpost hopes to highlight or at least shine a light on some of her excellence. In my eyes, Emilia Clarke is the English version of Scarlett Johansson. You can’t deny that her beauty is a factor for fans tuning in every Sunday on HBO. Moreover, you can’t deny that her talent is another factor fans are glueing their eyeballs to their 4K Ultra and HD screens. The equation is simple. Beauty + Talent = Movie Star.

The Hollywood actress turned 30 years old on October 23rd. She started filming Game of Thrones in her mid-twenties. I believe she has became more beautiful and more talented within that time frame. Moreover, she has a good sense of humor and is a pleasant personality, which is rare. I recommend watching a few interviews and getting to know her when you get the chance. What is Game of Thrones without Emilia Clarke? Her character’s long golden flowing locks are signature to the series. Plus, I can see the show staying in production for another 5 years. You see Game of Thrones is based on a book by George R.R. Martin. Emilia Clarke is appealing to book lovers, especially fantasy genre aficionados in the realm of television. A Farewell to Orphan Black

My British friends and many Americans were fans of Orphan Black. I decided to watch Orphan Black after noticing my Twitter feed full of #OrphanBlack s. I had featured the show in a blog post back in March 2014. My blog has been around for a relatively long time on the Internet.

I’ve been trying to figure out who is Elizabeth Childs? So, I pulled an all nighter Saturday to get to the bottom of it. I still haven’t been to sleep. But I’m having fun blogging. Time flies when you’re doing something you love to do.

I checked it out to see if it was any good. Overall, I was impressed. The concept was intriguing.

Orphan Black explored urgent issues in today’s society. It also showed a refreshing perspective on life in general. Now that it is completed, I plan on watching every single episode. I wasn’t late to the bandwagon because I’m not a bandwagon jumper. I was always aware of the show’s greatness. That’s why they call me the Entertainment Guru.

There’s just so much TV you can consume in your personal life. You got to make time for books, music, comedy, and movies too.

For the record, I didn’t binge watch Orphan Black. I watched 2 episodes through and through. We do ourselves a disservice when we binge watch, sometimes.

The genius of Orphan Black is that it was an imported TV show. Originality is rare in the film business. Hollywood remakes Remakes. You read that right. Orphan Black was as original as they came in entertainment and showbiz.

I wonder what’s next for Tatiana Maslany and the amazing cast. It appears Orphan Black is officially ending after 5 seasons. The show is over. They say it’s a wrap. 5 seasons is a long enough time. Plus, I believe the whole story was told and that’s what is important. This is a farewell to Orphan Black.

The Irony of Binge-Watching Orange Is the New Black Season 5


I hope you had an amazing 4thof July. I hope you saw fireworks, ate barbecue ribs, and didn’t have to work. If you did have to work, I hope you received holiday pay.

I decided early 4th of July to binge-watch Orange Is the New Black (OITNB) season 5. Late at night I find myself binge-watching episodes of OITNB. I fall asleep until Netflix asks me if I want to continue watching. Who else does that?

Do you lose quality when you binge-watch? Or does the director intend on you binge-watching? That’s why Netflix releases 13 episodes at once. Anyway, I’m impressed by season 5 so far.

Orange Is the New Black sucked me in and absorbed my attention like a sponge for three straight episodes. It felt like being in a night class that’s scheduled for four hours. By the third hour, you need a break. And that’s when I dozed off around 4:30 in the morning.

How ironic is it to watch, essentially women behind bars, on the 4th of July. You’re watching people without freedom, on America’s day of celebrating freedom. It’s all too real. Then, I remember they’re just actors. Piper Chapman’s real name is Taylor Schilling. And Laura Prepon is that girl from That’s 70 Show.

The first episode of season 5 rehashed the OITNB’s characters lives before prison. If this is your first episode seeing ever, you won’t be totally lost. I recommend binge-watching season 3. Then 1, 2, and 4. It’s true what they say, the third time’s the charm. Try it and let me know how it turned out for you.

As I was binge-watching the episodes, I thought about how a hacker threatened to release OITNB to the masses if Netflix didn’t pay a ransom. Then I thought about how a similar situation happened to Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean. Finally, I came to the conclusion that it’s ironic they’re hacking intellectual property centered around state property and private property. Just when I began thinking it’s a bad world, I remember it’s funny too.

    John Cena is arguably the biggest name in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) right now. He picked up where the Rock left off and added a few ingredients. If you smelt what the Rock was cooking, then you know John Cena’s secret recipe is classified.

    He has built a durable brand, which is evolving over time. Without question, the wrestler is an incredible actor. Cena plays a convincing part in the Marine movie. In fact, his portrayal convinced me to buy the DVD. I believe his movie career will take off exponentially this year because Hollywood is finally recognizing his star potential.

    Have you seen Daddy’s Home? I haven’t seen it yet, but I look forward to watching it soon. That way when Daddy’s Home 2 comes out, the first one will be fresh in my mind. John Cena has a major role in the movies.

    His most recent movie is The Wall produced by Amazon Studios released in May. The film rises to the occasion and tells a vivid war story. Cena portrays a realistic staff sergeant.

    The action star embraces discipline and embodies strength. Despite constant pressure, he maintains a consistent work ethic night after night. Moreover, his unbreakable mindset allows him to work out hard on a daily basis. We all know how difficult sticking to a rigid routine can be; and, John Cena sticks to his guns.

    It helps that his wife Nikki Bella is also a professional wrestler. She helps him in his efforts to maintain focus and superstar status. What are the odds that both husband and wife do the same thing for a living?

    John is just scratching the surface in showbiz. I expect to see him in more blockbusters. It’s only a matter of time before producers realize they’re getting a steal of a deal signing Cena to a contract.

It’s been reported in Vanity Fair and via other sources that Brie Larson gets by with a little help from her friends Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone. Talk about star power! Lawrence and Stone are two of Hollywood’s finest actresses. As you’ll soon discover, Miss Larson keeps very good company.

Emma Stone won the Oscar for La La Land this year and Jennifer Lawrence received one for Silver Linings Playbook in 2012. Clearly, Brie Larson belongs in the best actress conversation as well. Brie earned an Academy Award for her performance in Room last year. Her bevy of talents should be showcased like Olivia Wilde’s. Don’t underestimate her capabilities.

Are you looking forward to seeing Brie enter the Marvel universe as Captain Marvel or what? Who would love watching Larson and Scarlett Johansson perform in scenes together? In a sense, Larson is the antithesis of Angelina Jolie. While Angelina portrays the bad girl image, Brie is a good girl. What is more, she embraces characters who are largely likable protagonists.

Everyone can agree that this celebrity is destined for greatness. You’ll soon find her footprints cemented in stone on Hollywood Boulevard. Plus, you won’t find a more polished gem in showbiz anywhere. Producers see Brie’s smile and personality as entertainment assets. She looks like a younger Julia Roberts and acts like Sandra Bullock.

Many celebrities come across as disingenuous. However, Brie seems pleasant and humble. Did you know she was raised in Sacramento, California? She went to school for acting at the American Conservatory Theater.

I highly recommend watching Brie Larson movies including: The Gambler, Free Fire, and Kong: Skull Island. She plays Mark Wahlberg’s love interest in the Gambler. Additionally, she is the leading actress of Free Fire and Kong: Skull Island. Also, I look forward to seeing the Glass Castle, Basmati Blues and Unicorn Store.
