Who Is the Best Entertainer? Usher Vs. Justin Timberlake

Statistics show the entertainment industry collects approximately $2 Trillion annually. Music and movies make up a large portion of the proceeds. Consequently, singers and actors must tirelessly compete for unequal opportunities.
Besides Hedge Fund Managers and Fortune 500 CEOS, upper echelon celebrities make the most money worldwide. Moreover, elite celebrities are well compensated because they can sway a million opinions in 30 seconds. If time is of the essence, then the moment belongs to celebrity businessmen Usher and Justin Timberlake.
Usher owns restaurants, a record label, and a minority stake in a professional basketball team. Music artists can learn how to develop their business acumen from the superstar. Plus, Usher teaches eager students how to handle insane fame and manage a tight-knit family.

Justin Timberlake owns a clothing line, part of Myspace, and a share of the Memphis Grizzles. Furthermore, I believe both musicians are not finished producing prolific albums.

Music lovers amplify and magnify Justin Timberlake’s presence on the world’s stage. Because he’s been under the spotlight for decades, he never seems nervous. Also, Justin is one of the best Saturday Night Live hosts in history. Who recalls Dick in a Box? 

Before Bruno Mars was famous, Timberlake led NSYNC to glorious victories. Young people don’t remember Justin’s seven-year stint with the boy band but this period was essential to his development. Right now, the classy NSYNC leader and President of Pop fights in the heavyweight division.
Usher, who plays Sugar Ray Leonard in Hands of Stone, is fittingly a welterweight. Still, Usher is a more talented dancer than Timberlake. Make no mistake, Justin is an awesome dancer but Usher’s footwork forever changed show business.

Rihanna and Lady Gaga rank high on the music hierarchy.
Lately, Rihanna has made the news because of her supposed relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio. I thought for the longest that Bad Girl Riri and Bad Meets Evil Eminem were an item. However, you must remember show business is a highly calculative industry.
By some accounts, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber appear to be dating much to the chagrin of Big Sean. I don’t gossip because the lawyer in me doesn’t trust hearsay. So, I’ll leave Rihanna’s love life alone.
I first learned about Rihanna during a phone call with this stunning blue-eyed girl. I know Generation Z can’t imagine using a cell phone to talk because they only know how to text. Anyway, the girl ranted and raved so much, I Googled Rihanna for the first time.
Many years since, I came to relish Riri’s music. What is more, we all recognize Riri as a first class entertainer comparable to the greats. If the Barbados superstar continues dominating then she’ll have a similar commercial effect as legendary Jamaican musician Bob Marley.

In the beginning, the media gave Lady Gaga excessive coverage. I’m not just talking about entertainment and celebrity news here. Local, national, and global stations constantly ran stories and shined the limelight on the lady.
They gave Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande similar attention. And now it is One Direction’s turn. Although the news isn’t writing stories about Lady Gaga, her fans stay engaged as evidence by social media.
You know I value Gaga a lot. She’s a wonderful singer. But, sometimes I dislike her tacky costumes and turquoise hair color.

Regardless of your preferences, Lady Gaga’s game works wonders. You know Gaga doesn’t bluff because she sports a Poker Face. Plus, the shock factor showcases her bravado.

Have you seen the musicians’ concert performances? Your eyes are busy bodied because of all the activity and friction. Picture how fun it is promoting their tours.

Lady Gaga and Rihanna are fun spirited girls, who crave intense feelings. Gaga sings with pure energy. And Riri sings with raw emotion.
You couldn’t pick a better time to be a celebrity than right now. Yes, you sacrifice privacy but who cares? If you’re talented as Lady Gaga and Rihanna you’re set for life.
Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande can learn how to handle fame from Riri and Gaga. More Disney and Nickelodeon kids need to stop wasting their time living destructive lifestyles. As my grandpa said, “moderation is key.”
Like Lindsay Lohan, Shia LaBeouf, and Amanda Bynes, Miley and Ariana are stuck with the ‘child star’ label. There’s no curse because Justin Timberlake turned out fine. Still, Rihanna and Lady Gaga can teach Cyrus and Grande a different perspective because they didn’t grow up playing TV characters.

In this Information/ Digital Age, celebrities need less scrutiny and more support. Think about how every action/ word is analyzed because technology makes it easily presentable. Rihanna and Lady Gaga are teachers because they provide another avenue for Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, and others.

Ed Sheeran is the most exciting musician in the world right now. Some people think of Sheeran as the new and improved John Lennon. Imagine Sheeran were a Beatle replacing George Harrison 50 years ago.
Not only does Ed entertain audiences, he energizes, electrifies, and captivates crowds. Sheeran is like a mechanic whose main tool is an electric guitar. You see Sheeran’s dynamic pitch control helps define him as a music artist.
Not even 25 yet, Ed Sheeran directly impacts the music industry. Because the British born star is an incredible songwriter, he literally affects our listening experience. Did you know the celebrity wrote the songs: Moments, 18, and One Thing for One Direction?
Not to mention, Ed was the opening act for Taylor Swift’s Red Tour. Would you pay a hundred dollars to see that show? Nowadays, Sheeran is the main attraction wherever he goes.


Although Sheeran isn’t as famous as Swift, he’s just as good. Soon, he could become most popular if he makes the right decisions. Then again, who wants to deal with being a celebrity?

Going out and performing onstage doesn’t scare Sheeran like others. As terrific as Sam Smith may be, Ed shines brighter under the spotlight. Like Smith, the Thinking Out Loud singer seems passionate. Additionally, the musician’s style resembles that of Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, and John Legend.

Entertainment extraordinaire Jamie Foxx was first to take the soulful artist under his wings. Foxx utilized his radio platform to promote Sheeran’s talent to millions. Music legend Elton John also mentored the young musician early on in the process. But it was Foxx, who was most instrumental in helping Sheeran receive a profitable record deal.

Picture this: You’re married to Justin Timberlake and your ex-husband calls himself Tom Cruise. Justin makes a masterful music video called Mirrors. Plus, Cruise made you feel like the only girl in the world.

Scenario 1
Justin Timberlake sings, “ I don’t want to lose you now. I’m looking right at the other half of me. The vacancy that sat in my heart is a space that now you hold.” More importantly, you are expecting your first child together.

Scenario 2
Your fiancé Tom Cruise anxiously tells Oprah and the whole world “I’m in love” referring to you. Then, he jumps on Oprah’s couch causing a memorable scene. Your marriage to Cruise lasted six years and you cherish every second. What is more, you have a beautiful child from this experience named Suri.

Jessica Biel and Katie Holmes are two of my favorite actresses. I’m not saying this because they’re gorgeous. Trust me when I say Biel and Holmes are amazing and unbelievable.

Batman Begins would not be the same without Katie Holmes playing the love interest. Furthermore, critics applaud Katie’s work on the Kennedys. Have you seen Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, and Mad Money?
It’s so hard for actors to get consistent parts, let alone make millions of dollars like Katie. Holmes has built a respectable career. Almost every actress aspires to be on her level.

When you want a kick-ass soldier and female fighting machine, call Jessica Biel. Biel brings substance to Stealth, Home of the Brave, and Total Recall. Imagine Jessica Biel as the lead actress in Transformers: Age of Extinction with Mark Wahlberg.
Doesn’t Hollywood need another female action movie star besides Angelina Jolie? I don’t want to take away from Scarlett Johansson’s thunder. All I am saying is Jessica Biel deserves action roles because she’s proven herself in past films.

Why Robin Thicke Is Superior

I remember the first time hearing Robin Thicke sing Lost Without You on the airwaves while driving to work. YouTube had just been invented and I was surprised when I watched the video, because I honestly thought Robin was African American. The next week I researched Robin Thicke like an employer investigating and screening potential workers.
Hence, the second Robin Thicke music video I watched was When I Get You Alone, a blatant sample of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. In the video, Robin’s long hair looked like Jesus’s hairdo. Thicke clearly passed the background check after much deliberation with family, friends, and coworkers.
The next time I shopped at Target, I purchased the Evolution of Robin Thicke CD. Till this day, I still periodically listen to the album. What is more, through the years Robin Thicke has stayed relevant by perfecting onstage performances and always crowd-pleasing.

By the way, the Evolution was certified platinum. Thicke should have received 5 Grammys but the Academy rather give Beck praises. Kanye West was right; giving Beck the Grammy for Best Album was an atrocity.

How can I best describe Robin’s unique sound? Robin Thicke sounds similar to Justin Timberlake, Usher, and the late great Joe Cocker. Still, Thicke has an original style separating him from his peers like the aforementioned musicians. 
Robin Thicke doesn’t get his feathers ruffled because Thicke identifies with ordinary people. When Robin enters the studio booth, music is the only thing on his mind. That’s why I say, find something you’re passionate about, ride your love to the wheels fall off, and the money will eventually come provided you adequately prepared yourself.

How Maxwell and Miguel Changed Music

Maxwell independently produces his music. So the media rarely features the singer/songwriter in headlines. Still, the soulful musician ranks favorably in the upper echelon.
Maxwell is a mixture of Al Green and Marvin Gaye. Who’s smoother in style and voice than Maxwell? His closest contemporaries are Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Robin Thicke.
Preservation is key in all things; and, Maxwell has preserved his vocal chords allowing him more minutes in the studio and show time. His passion inspires and engages many listeners.
The media always glosses over Miguel’s excellence. They magnify Bruno Mars and Katy Perry at the expense of other great music artists. Miguel may not have 2 billion YouTube views or 10 million fake Twitter followers, but he has an authentic sound.

Along with strong songwriting skills, Miguel has Beethoven’s ear and Van Gogh’s eye for detail. When Miguel starts touring the world, his target audience will gravitate to him because he’s already laid a firm foundation. Furthermore, it’s critical for celebrities to raise their profiles.
I can literally listen to only Maxwell and Miguel music all day. This Woman’s Work and Adorn are two of my favorites. Name your favorite Maxwell and Miguel songs.
While driving from class, I frequently heard Miguel’s Sure Thing on the radio. I eventually found the song on YouTube and learned more about Miguel. Now, I’m a big a fan. By the way, Sure Thing should have won a Grammy.
Since music changed, musicians had to adopt. What is more, Maxwell and Miguel forever changed music because they’re uniquely different from typical singers. Neither artist is against experimenting. In fact, they’re known to try new things.
Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys have collaborated with Maxwell and Miguel. Divas bring their most expensive goods. And the best work with the best.

The Futuristic Music of Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas

The best pop music sounds futuristic. Justin Timberlake named his tour the FutureSex/LoveShow. Furthermore, who’s more on the cutting edge than Lady Gaga? The Black Eyed Peas actually live in present day 3008.

Even as the NSYNC leader, Justin showed early signs of prospering on his own. Once Timberlake committed to the idea of greatness, he became great. He let his passion flourish. Will you?

If Beyoncé is a dream girl, then Justin Timberlake is every girl’s dream. His Until the End of Time duet with Beyoncé still attracts daily views on YouTube as well as DailyMotion (pun intended). How can you get more futuristic than the apocalypse?

Of course Timberlake received high marks on his progress reports, because he’s progressive. Check out Ayo Technology by 50 Cent featuring Justin. Timberlake makes my top 10 pop star list because he works smart. I currently have him at #5, but with an array of smashing hits, he can easily move up to #1.


The face of music treats entertainment as a business. That’s why the passionate musician owns a portion of MySpace. By making intelligent decisions, instead of working hard, you’ll hardly have to work.


Lately, Lady Gaga has underperformed slightly. That is actually a good thing because she had time to reflect and introspect. That’s why I’m waiting patiently for the release of her next album.

One of these days, Gaga will perform on the moon. Remember where you read it first. I guarantee she’ll still look sexy too.

Seriously, while most musicians imitate, Lady Gaga innovates. Many pop stars sample oldies, but Gaga invents newbies. See ArtPop for proof that’s she’s unabashed and willing to try something new, exciting, and different.

There are several similarities between Fergie and Iggy Azalea. The Black Eyed Peas singer/rapper revolutionized music with bandleader will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo. ImmaBe influenced LMFAO’s popular Party Rock Anthem. Furthermore, Fergie still influences Iggy Azalea’s career.

This is the same band that brought you the E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies) album, which included hits such as: Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, and Rock That Body. Additionally, their music transcends time. Who remembers Craig Robinson’s Let’s Get It Started from the Hot Tub Time Machine?

The band is in it for the long haul. Because they come from different walks of life, the group’s music truly brings people together. The Black Eyed Peas dutifully embrace technology and the future. In the words of will.i.am, “you can’t say futuristic and then be afraid of the future.”

Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and the Black Eyed Peas can officially retire because they have produced enough content already to last two lifetimes. What is more, they have collected a treasure chest of timeless songs. I identify with all these musicians because I write timeless blogs.
