Last night Oscars had an amazing feel to it. This might have been the most memorable Oscars of all time. Without question, it certainly had the most controversial ending. Here’s a recap for you to enjoy.
The TV audience was treated to delightful arrivals on the Oscars Red Carpet. If you’re into style and fashion, then this was a special part of the show for you. Everybody was dressed in their absolute best dresses and tuxedos for this incredible celebration.
First, Justin Timberlake got the party started by singing Can’t Stop The Feeling to start the show. He and his wife Jessica Biel shared a magical moment on the dance floor. In fact, the whole crowd couldn’t stop the feeling. Next, host Jimmy Kimmel kept the jokes flowing throughout the evening. Of course he addressed his Matt Damon beef multiple times.
Later on, Mahershala Ali was awarded Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Moonlight. And Viola Davis won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Fences. Jimmy Kimmel interrupted the award show by acting as a tour guide. He hilariously served as an intermediary between fans and celebrities.
In addition, Jimmy Kimmel kept everyone nourished by releasing candy, cookies, and donuts from the rafters. Nevertheless, it was a fun filled night. The stars shined and glowed.
Hacksaw Ridge took home the Academy Award for Sound Mixing. Meanwhile, the Oscar for Sound Editing was given to Arrival.Manchester By the Sea won the prestigious Best Original Screenplay, while Moonlight received the coveted Best Adapted Screenplay award.

Plus, Best Actor in a Leading Role was awarded to Casey Affleck for Manchester By The Sea. And Emma Stone received Best Actress in a Leading Role for La La Land. Finally, Moonlight won Best Picture after La La Land was wrongly announced the winner.

Is Aloe Blacc Another John Legend?

Nowadays, the deep sounding voice is rare in music. That’s what makes Aloe Blacc a diamond in the rough. Now, he’s not Barry White but you get the picture. It’s hard to argue with the fact Aloe is special. He’s another John Legend.

Before John Legend fans launch an attack on me, allow me to explain myself. John Legend is a far better singer than Aloe Blacc and almost everybody else. However, what Aloe Blacc lacks in raw talent, he makes up for with soul. You can’t deny that Aloe Blacc is one of the most passionate crooners showbiz has ever seen.

Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Justin Timberlake and most other male vocalists are known for their high pitches. But who wants to live in a world where music all sounds the same? No knock on Biebs, Mends, and Timbs but the fans have spoken. They want something different from the status quo.

Aloe Blacc is different. He doesn’t subscribe to the status quo at all. You know how they say some writers such as Herman Melville were ahead of their time. I believe this singer is ahead of his time.

Here’s why…

He crosses genres. Who else sings pop, country, and hip-hop? You could say that Nelly crosses all three genres but I remind you that the Hot in Here artist is a rapper.

What is more, Aloe Blacc makes meaningful music. The singer sings about what’s important in the world. He doesn’t brag about how much money he makes and how many girlfriends he has or the good life. Did you know his nickname is Mr. Frugal? I call this Hollywood Conservatism.

I’ve been following Aloe Blacc since his I Need A Dollar days. Green Lights is one of my favorite Aloe Blacc songs. Moreover, I play I’m the Man (Explicit version) when I feel the need. Lately, I’ve been casually listening to his songs on Vevo.

What Is One Direction Without Zayn?
Who thought Harry Styles would go first? It doesn’t make sense that Zayn left One Direction so soon. It’s been a minute now and there are talks that he may come back still.
I came across a story about Paul McCartney weighing in on the topic. Speaking of weight, I gotta get this off my chest. O.K., One Direction will never be in the same ballpark as the Beatles. Who told you that lie?
I believe One Direction is an amazing band no doubt. Their music appeals to the youth. Plus, the band’s social media game has no rivals.
Nowadays, you’re measured by the power of your social network. With 28 million Twitter followers aka Directioners, One Direction has a powerful fan-base comprising of fortresses and arsenals around the world. Why on Earth would Zayn Malik leave it? Sidebar: do you think Camila Cabello will exit Fifth Harmony soon?

All I’m saying is what ever happened to loyalty, pride, and stick-to-it-ed-ness? What is One Direction without Zayn? The answer is PILLOWTALK. Yes, we got a hit song and top music video out his departure but at what price? 
Maybe, this is the real question-> does One Direction need Zayn and vice versa? It boils down to what is best for both parties. Right now Zayn is in a different lane. In America, it is the left lane because he’s going fast. In Great Britain, it’s the right lane.
Zayn should keep doing whatever he wants to  because that’s his motto. I only ask that he keep making great music for music’s sake. The world needs good music and Zayn makes great music. Like Katy Perry, he delivers what we want.
In the prophetic words of Tupac Shakur, “I aint mad at cha…Zayn. Pillowtalk hypnotizes you like John Lennon’s lyrics. People compare him to Justin Timberlake who left NSYNC but I say that’s some big shoes to fill….not to mention those huge cufflinks, custom-suit, and tie shit.

Why Jared Leto Is Rare

Jared Leto is many things- a singer, actor, and all-around entertainer. He loses himself in the moment and perfectly performs onstage or onscreen. Plus, Leto is a noted vegetarian.
Let’s acknowledge him for taking on challenging projects such as Dallas Buyers Club. His coworkers have noticed his dedication as well. If Hollywood were Wal-Mart, Jared Leto would win employee of the month every time.
The Thirty Seconds To Mars bandleader leads by example. Although he isn’t usually a lead actor, Leto influences the direction of movies. He plays Joker in Suicide Squad starring Will Smith.


Celebrities have special qualities. Leto is committed to perfection. I don’t believe Matthew McConaughey would have won an Oscar without a pushing toward greatness.
Never underestimate the power of a superior supporting actor. Moreover, Leto played inferior roles such as a heroin addict in Requiem for a Dream. Like Christian Bale, the Academy Award winning Jared Leto is a rare method actor.
Finally, Leto is receiving credit for his brilliance. The Edge of the Earth musician will go to the extreme if that’s what it takes. What is more, he could have dumped his band and went solo like Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé.
Fortunately, Thirty Seconds To Mars has produced 4 studio albums to date. And the music group has amassed 1.6 million Twitter followers. Jared Leto went from an unknown to a Very Important Person.

In 20 years, he’s become a household name, because he relentlessly pursues his passion. Did you know Jared Leto started as a director? In fact, he graduated from the School of Visual Arts. Everything happens for a reason.
If I were advising him, I would encourage him to focus on directing. You see directing is like playing golf. You can be a director or golfer almost forever.
I know Leto knows what to do. He is more than a jack-of-all-trades. Jared Leto is rare because he is a master of many trades.

Why Justin Timberlake Is the New Sinatra

Justin Timberlake was elected President of Pop about eight years ago. Apparently, he might be president forever. The popular singing statesman travels the globe representing Memphis, Tennessee.
You know Elvis Presley is connected to Memphis. Have you been to Graceland?  
Are you watching the CMA Awards tonight? Timberlake will perform and it makes total sense. This year’s award show takes place inside Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Luke Bryan is also in the lineup. Plus, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley return to host.
I predict Justin Timberlake will steal the show though. Justin expresses deep feelings with his music. When you give blood, sweat, and tears to your craft people take time to notice.

In total, the musician has won 9 Grammys. Additionally, he’s received 4 Emmys. He could go all the way and win an Oscar.
His Saturday Night Live appearances were exceptional. This is coming from an SNL expert.
The Tennessee kid’s been around the block. Almost anyone can appreciate his songs because they’re universal. He keeps to a familiar theme. That’s not to say he isn’t creative.
Mirrors, Suit & Tie, and Sexy Back display his originality. Justin Timberlake can teach Nick Jonas a ton. Few people command their voices better than Timberlake.

His stage presence feels magical.
Will NSYNC reunite for good feelings? When you’re reunited it feels so good. Don’t you wish all bands stuck together for the long term?
Justin Timberlake outshines the brightest stars. Some of these new singers should shine his shoes. What is more, his star power goes beyond music. In movies and on TV, this entertainer performs to the peak.
I believe Justin Timberlake is this generation’s Frank Sinatra. While I like Michael Buble, he’s a spitting image of the legend. Give Justin high marks on style and substance. Shout out to music teachers.

Is Nick Jonas the Future Justin Timberlake?

Spotlights don’t scare Nick Jonas. The Disney alum/ Jonas brother was born and bred for music’s sake. Although Halloween might be over, Nick is a ‘trick or treat’ to millions upon millions of fans everyday.
Right now, I’m blogging about the Levelssinger because Jealous is stuck in my frontal lobe. If you didn’t know already, it’s the celebrity’s right to be hellish. That’s why he still gets jealous.
And Jonas isn’t a one hit wonder either.

With his momentum and potential, he can realistically become the future Justin Timberlake. They share several similarities. Both are Disney alums and products of boy bands. Plus, countless girls scream at their concerts and chant their names in cohesion.
To compete with Justin though, Nick needs to play in major movie productions. I also like to hear him sing longer songs like Timberlake’s Mirrors, What Goes Around, and TKO. But make no mistake, Jonas can croon.
The young entertainer is getting better with time. It’s clear he possesses the expertise. Currently, Nick is gaining the necessary experience to catapult his extraordinary career.

You see Nick doesn’t need to take a backseat to nobody. He can ride shotgun on his tour bus or inside his classic Mustang. What is more, he seems prepared for anything.
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas go on the Future Now tour this summer. Who is buying and reserving tickets? Count on these shows selling out quickly, because Lovato and Jonas have great history  as well as chemistry.
It is important for elite celebs to get along for entertainment purposes. If there is one thing Jonas has shown us, it is his uncanny ability to collaborate. Everyone understands music superstars carry egos the size of Saturn (the planet, not the car). And so, Nick’s “Mr. Nice Guy” persona is an intangible asset.

Why Usher Is A Superstar

For over a decade, Usher was on top. Right now he is a superstar. When you create great music nothing else matters. Usher’s greatness is unquestionable.
Without question, LinkedIn and Monster.com couldn’t have charted him a better career path. Musicians can live comfortably off of one hit wonders. That’s why Usher can take breaks. The artist has produced a dozen number 1’s.
If he’s not moving mountains, he’s making love in this club. The superstar cites Marvin Gaye as a major influence. Their styles are similar and so are their lyrics. Trading Places sounds a lot like Marvin. Do you know the words to Sexual Healingand Let’s Get It On?
Have you been to any of Usher’s concerts? Groupies obsess over him because he is personable and seductive. Usher previously stated he works out before every performance. I wonder if his physical fitness attracts honeys.

When you’re high up on everybody’s VIP list, how do you keep your ear to the ground? Although he’s a multimillionaire, Usher isn’t out of touch. I believe it’s because he realizes that he is fortunate. Plus, like Maxwell, he’s never sang a song with all his might!
How many times have his albums went platinum? Who else has won 8 Grammys?
What is more, in the noisy entertainment world Usher is mellow.

Astronomy teaches you they’re a trillion stars. However, Hollywood teaches you a superstar is a rare sighting. Luckily, Usher was born into the industry. In fact, his mother managed his career for a while when he was younger.
You see the constellations must align accordingly. You must wait patiently for everything to connect. Ironically, Nice & Slow accelerated the celeb’s career. 

Usher is a superstar because he decided to shepherd the flock instead of following the herd.
