Why Chris Pratt Is a Hot Commodity

For the record, I’ve said for the longest that Hollywood’s biggest first name is Chris. Have you noticed everybody has the same name? But that’s another story.
If I could bag up Chris Pratt and sell Mini-Mes of the movie star I would do it. I’m not talking about action figures. I would make the Jurassic World actor available for the masses to enjoy.
Right now, Chris Pratt is a hot commodity on Hollywood Boulevard. Jennifer Lawrenceadmitted to being nervous before filming her sex scene with the Guardian of the Galaxy/ Star-Lord. She’s not alone. Everyone wants to get his or her hands on him.
People robbed Pratt of Sexiest Man Alive in 2014. That magazine ranked him #2. Could you settle for second? I know you couldn’t because you’re a first place finisher/ winner. That’s why you read the Guru Jay website.

Luckily, Pratt still has time. After all, he’s only 36. David Beckham won at the age of 40. Plus, there are other rankings besides People.

The best Park and Recreation episodes feature Chris Pratt. I don’t know how producers convinced Chris to stay on P&R, but I’m glad that they handled it.
The future is bright for this movie star. I expect Passengers and the Magnificent Seven to do wonders in box office numbers (pun intended).
Nothing seems to irritate Chris Pratt. You want to be cool under pressure like the actor.

Celebrities are like stocks. Their salaries fluctuate like stock prices. Sooner or later the bubble will burst.

In my Hollywood LookAlikes: Hilary Swank Vs. Jennifer Garner post, I asked whether celebrities sometimes pass themselves off as each other. Recently, Jessica Chastain admitted to Jimmy Fallon that she pretends to be Bryce Dallas Howard. Apparently, fans commonly call Chastain by Howard’s name.
Can you spot the difference between these actresses?
I watch movies with an eagle eye and elephant ear. And I’ll admit that it took me some time to separate Charlize Theron from Uma Thurman. So, I can understand why some people could confuse Jessica and Bryce.

Both girls are sexy redheads without prevalent freckles. You don’t see that everyday. Plus, these 2 actresses played in The Help together. How many lookalikes can say they’ve been in the same movie?
However, if you look closely you’ll see Bryce’s blue eyes and Jessica’s emeralds. Moreover, Jessica stoops three inches shorter at 5’4”. You see they’re not identical twins like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. The pair is more like Mary and Elizabeth Olsen.

Both girls were born in March. But Bryce Dallas Howard is a Pisces and Jessica Chastain is an Aries. Additionally, Jessica has 38 years compared to Bryce’s 34.

Despite Chastain having an age advantage, Howard is a more experienced actress due to genetics. Her father is none other than the Hollywood king Ron Howard. That’s why Bryce has been doing movies since 1989. This doesn’t take away from Chastain’s excellence. Quite the contrary, she studied at Juilliard like Nicole Beharie.
I like them both, but Jessica Chastain wins this Battle of the Redheads.

The biggest first name in Hollywood is Chris. Evans, Hemsworth and Pratt are making strides on the Walk of Fame. What is more, this trio’s footprints belong on the Boulevard.


You don’t want Chris Evans’ representation. He should fire his manager. Darn it! Chris Evans is a franchise player making a rookie’s salary.

People magazine named Chris Hemsworth the sexiest man alive. Apparently they forgot about the other two ‘Christies’ Evans and Pratt. Oh, how superficial can Hollywood get?
All these actors have one thing in common. You guessed it. They’re gym rats.

Here’s the truth. Hollywood leading men must have astronomically sized muscles. In case you’re not physically imposing, you need to work twice as hard to land auditions. It’s rare but talent beats brute force on occasion.
Give Hemsworth credit for his role selection. Have you seen ‘Thor?’ Do you plan to go see his new movie ‘Blackhat?’
‘Parks and Recreation’ cast member Chris Pratt came a long way from Jump Street. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ was his big break. Always keep the line open, in case Marvel calls.
Pratt stars in the highly anticipated Jurassic World. With such favorable momentum, how can Chris lose? Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Furthermore, Hemsworth has a key role in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ I predict Avengers will take the second slot right after ‘Star Wars.’ Franchises tend to do swell at the box office.
Who would win a hypothetical Battle Royal? If I were a betting man, I’d choose Evans because he seems more assertive. In combat sports such as wrestling and boxing one’s awareness is critical.
Evans is only 6’0. Pratt stands at 6’2. And Hemsworth comes in at 6’3. Hemsworth could overpower Pratt.
Between these ‘Marvel’ movie stars, Chris Pratt is the best actor. Am I right? Who’s better?

2015 Highly Anticipated Movies

Star Wars should shatter records in 2015. It is a must-see movie. Fans have already started counting down. So, clear your calendar for The Force Awakens debuting December 18th.
Universal Pictures releases Fifty Shades of Grey on Valentine’s Day. Will the ‘sex tape’ live up to all the hype? Have you seen the trailer or read the novel?
There’s a lot of buzz about Get Hard. The comedy starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart comes out in March. It looks very funny.
If you’d like to see a funny sequel you can choose between Ted 2, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
Is Avengers: Age of Ultronup for the challenge? The Marvel movie premieres on May 1st. The project features several heavyweights.
Take your kids to see the Despicable Me spin-off Minions coming this summer. Also, this winter you can check out the SpongeBob Movie. Your family might like Jurassic World as well. Do you remember the Steven Spielberg directed films?
Hasta la vista, baby! Governor Schwarzenegger is back as the Terminator in Genisys. The pricy movie should outperform its competition.
Believe it or not, I haven’t seen the Hunger Games. Am I missing out? The highly anticipated Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters on November 20th.
Kingsman: The Secret Service should be an action-packed international blockbuster. If you want more action, watch Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 5 this Christmas. Read upcoming movie reviews on my site.
