Nowadays, anybody can be famous. Buy a digital camera or use your fancy iPhone to record your intriguing or foolish lifestyle. Look no further than the Real Housewives as a prime example.

Long before reality TV, Jennifer Lopez was real. In fact, JLo lived by that motto coining a song I’m Real. Respect Jennifer Lopez because she’s truly talented.

ROCK THAT BODY

In the process of building her brand, the entertainer reportedly insured her ass for $27 million. With the invention of Nicki Minaj now the price of booty has doubled. In this superficial industry, JLo’s body rocks like a Black Eyed Peas song.

The super fly lady’s body is out of sight. She works hard to stay in shape. Give credit where it is due. Who represents Puerto Rico and the Bronx better than Jenny from the block?

Like Pepsi and Blue Magic, JLo is a brand name. Why hasn’t American Gangster Denzel Washington made a movie with Jennifer? Hollywood has dropped the ball.

Jennifer Lopez constantly complains about choosing the wrong partner. Frankly, the triple threat celebrity intimidates boyfriends. You see we still live in a world where men are expected to provide for their families.

Puff Daddy (Diddy) and JLo were perfect for each other. Although her love didn’t cost a thing, Lopez needed a bossy man. Jay Z might listen to Beyoncé but in the end he calls all the shots.

JLo shines brightly because like a distant star she’s been here awhile. Without Lopez, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato would not be multimillionaires. People pay attention to Jennifer, because she’s an exceptional entertainer who crossed boundaries.

Music lovers and movie buffs can’t get enough of Jennifer Lopez. Who makes better dance music and romantic flicks than the booty pioneer? Good music makes girls twerk their butts. In a recent blog post, I proposed that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira make a single. I want to see JLo and Mariah Carey too.

Recently, Shakira amassed 100 million Facebook likes, setting a Guinness World Record. Socially, what celebrity can compete with the musician’s global appeal and international recognition? Evidentially, the Beautiful Liar songstress leads more followers than Twitter suggests.

As her ship’s captain, the Colombian singer steals booty like a Caribbean pirate. Because she sings in Spanish and English, her influence reaches twice as many people. Who affects more individuals than the Latin American sensation?

In a nutshell, Shakira became a quadruple threat by consistently creating exciting movements. Judging by her body of work, the music lover likes dancing and keeping her lovely figure. Anatomically, Shakira defines sexiness with her curvaceous physical structure.

If Kim Kardashian supposedly broke the Internet, then the Can’t Remember to Forget You celebrity breaks YouTube all the time. The Bohemian is iconic and legendary in entertainment circles. According to Forbes, the entertainer resides in Nassau, Bahamas.

The Whenever Wherever musician maintains a relentless mentality and elevated attitude. What is more, Shakira seems confident and capable. Though the first-class entertainer plays multiple instruments, she doesn’t play second fiddle.

Furthermore, the multi-talented celebrity keeps muliti-millions in her Swiss and Cayman bank accounts. It makes perfect sense why she isn’t an American citizen… One word: taxes. Facebook cofounder Eduardo Saverin renounced his American citizenship in order to avoid taxation before the social media company’s historic Initial Public Offering.

If they were stocks, I would buy Shakira before Madonna. While the Material Girl pays better dividends, the She Wolf has a higher valuation. Although they’re both sex symbols, the Colombian singer commands more attention.

What’s stopping Voice judge from recording and performing with American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez? A diverse population wants to see this collaboration happen. And we all know Shakira makes it happen! That’s how she became a quadruple threat.

#7 GENTLEMAN M/V

I don’t understand 95 percent of the words in this video. But, I understand why it’s popular. I’m not as lost in translation as you’d think.

The video presents the lifestyle of a gentleman. PSY attempts to catch a lady’s eye. He goes to the extreme trying to impress her.

He stares into her face for a long time with a seductive look. Whatever he is selling she is buying. You don’t need to know Korean to understand this.

PSY has transformed music. He alone introduced K-Pop to the world wide web. Even though his songs are in Korean, his videos are universal.

#6 Love The Way You Lie

In Love The Way You Lie, Eminem burns the house down with his accomplice Rihanna. The roof is literally on fire in the music video. The fire represents life’s pains and struggles.

If you want a hit record then sign a deal with Eminem or Rihanna. They are at the top because they came from the bottom. They had to grind the hard way to get to their current status.

Dr. Dre spotted Eminem. And Jay Z discovered Rihanna. Do you see the connection? Dr. Dre and Jay Z are nearly billionaires now.

#5 Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)

At the time of this post, Waka Waka has 770 million views. It is the 5th most popular video because the world loves soccer. Even in America, everyone watches the World Cup every 4 years.

The FIFA World Cup strategically selected Shakira to sing their anthem. She was a perfect choice. Who else can sing in multiple languages perfectly?

The singer means so much to music as well as Latin America. In a sense, her voice pitches in a league of its own. Do you like Shakira?

#4 Party Rock Anthem

LMFAO made a big splash with Party Rock Anthem. The sensational video inspired two of my blog posts. Check out How to Party Like a Rock Star and Funny Show Business.

Without Party Rock Anthem Redfoo and Sky Blu would be an above average band at best. That’s why the choreography deserves special recognition. It’s so hard to separate yourself from the fray in music.

I give the song a B. But the music video receives an A. Like LMFAO it’s a success story.

#3 On The Floor

On The Floor doesn’t almost have 800 million views by accident. The music video’s success comes from perfect chemistry between two celebs. Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have a great working relationship.

Should they get married to each other? If they date, it will be the most talked about hookup. What are the chances of this happening? If you ask me, Jenny from the block is already in Pitbull’s corner.

While the song gets an A-, I give the On The Floor video a B+. I wanted to see more. JLO should have used backup dancers. Still, it’s fun and worth seeing.

#2 Baby

If Christopher Columbus discovered America, then Usher Raymond III founded Canada. Well, Usher did find Justin Bieber on YouTube. To date, Bieber is the most famous Canadian. My apologizes to Drake…

It all started with Baby. The music video has amassed over 1.1 billion views in less than 5 years. You can’t ignore Justin Bieber’s popularity.

Justin calls his fans ‘Beliebers.’ If you had a dollar for every one of his followers, you’d be a billionaire. His numbers are virtually endless. Just keep counting. I’ll stand by. Can you picture living like a celebrity?

See How to Be Justin Bieber. You’ll find it’s a hard job but somebody has to do it. Not everybody is cut out. It takes skin like a crocodile and a smile like a Bush.

Once again, I don’t understand 95 percent of the words, but I get the message. I give the song and the music video an A+. Gangnam Style is what I call Funny Show Business.

You see, crazy antics make mad money. You can make a lot of cash just by making people laugh. That’s exactly what PSY has done.

With 2.14 billion views, Gangnam Style has made PSY a global celebrity. He’s lightyears ahead of his competition. He’s unstoppable.

The best Black and Latina actresses have one thing in common: talent. These ladies are the crème de la crème. They all give exemplary performances every time.

I present to you the best. These are my favorite selections. At the end, tell us who’s on your list.

Best Black and Latina Actresses

Paula Patton’s portfolio is a solid body of work. Déjà vu is my favorite. Her big break came withMission: Impossible IV- Ghost Protocol. Have you seen it?

I predict Paula will win an Oscar. Does she remind you of the girl next door? She is the lead actress in the long awaited Warcraft movie, based on the addictive video game.

Gina Torres is also a marketable fantasy actress. Who could forget about her role in Matrix and her stint on the TV show Firefly? Gina looks great!

I would let her teach me how to act any day. I’d bet her acting class wouldn’t have an empty seat. You can tell that this Cuban New Yorker loves science fiction.

Zoe Saldana is the best science fiction actress. I like her in the Star Trek franchise as well as Avatar. Sources say her performance in Guardians of the Galaxy is top notch.

Rihanna reminds me of Zoe Saldana. They both have the ‘look.’ Watch Colombiana when you get the chance.

Puerto Ricans are proud of Jennifer Lopez. She is a good representative of all Latinas. JLo has a big heart.

Check out her movie Jack starring Robin Williams. I like JLo because of her versatility. Give her a part and watch her go to work. She is building a legendary career.

Eva Mendes is underperforming. This Eva has not exceeded her limit. Give her a shot.

Who’s a better Latina actress than Eva Longoria? This Eva transcends TV. Two words: Desperate Housewives…

Longoria made Desperate Housewives a thriving success. She was the primary reason for my remote interest in the drama. Vanessa Williams helped too.

Modern Familystar Sofia Vergara gives me a similar rationale. Ed O’Neil also known as Al Bundy brings back many childhood memories. But, I watch Modern Family because of Sofia Vergara.

I’m sitting on my sofa and watching Sofia.

Roselyn Sanchez doesn’t have as big a name. Still, the Devious Maids actress is very skillful. I liked her in Miss Congeniality. She has sex appeal like Sandra Bullock.

I respect Roselyn due to her humility. She seems like a good spirited sister. She doesn’t cause trouble.

Nia Long flies under the radar. You must admire the way she conducts herself too. The Black actress earns her keep. I only have nice things to say about Nia.

She is similar in style to Halle Berry.

Let me clarify that there is only 1 Halle Berry. And, she is a legend. Halle came a long way from Cleveland.

She is the face of Revlon. It’s nice to see her diversifying income streams. She’s everywhere: in the movies, commercials and now on TV. Comment and tweet if you want to keep Extant on the air!

Do you like Sanaa Lathan? Have you seen Love and Basketball? If you’re making a Romance, audition Sanaa!

Another good Sanaa movie is Brown Sugar. She stars alongside Taye Diggs. By the way, Magic Johnson helped finance this film. Speaking of finances, Sanaa stays at the bank. She deposits pay stubs as her hobby.

When Taraji P. Henson comes to mind, you think The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Also, Taraji posed semi-nude for PETA. Even if you don’t support the cause, you admire passionate people.

Taking bold political stances is a big risk in Hollywood.

Rosario Dawson is the lead actress in Fire With Fire. I watched Fire With Fire on demand. And, this is an absolute must-see movie. It’s rated R so in the words of Dave Chappelle: “you’d better not bring your kids.”

As always, Rosario shines in the film. Oh yeah, Bruce Willis is not bad either. But, Dawson demonstrates her high demand. She shows why her stock price is at 100 points.

Rosario is a great supporting actor. I believe she is the best supporting actress out there. And, her best days are ahead. She is still developing her talent as a lead.

Kerry Washington is best known for her work on ABC’s Scandal. But before her prime time TV domination, she was a successful movie actress. This girl is limitless like Scarlett Johansson in the number 1 movie Lucy.

I have seen Kerry mature over the years. I still remember her first film Our Song. From then to now, you see a tremendous progression.

Kerry easily makes my top five. She embodies the essence of performing arts.

Of course, the thespian Cameron Diaz is number 10. In fact, her last name means ‘ten’ in Spanish. The blonde Latina is the best in her niche.

As far as romantic comedies, Cameron is second to none. Boy can Cameron dance. Who saw Sex Tape?

Jessica Alba owns the night as much as Eva Mendes. Alba is a younger Cameron Diaz. In her own right, Jessica has established herself as a household name.

Jessica gives a good performance in Good Luck Chuck. Alba should stick to romantic-comedies. To paraphrase a plumber: “If it ain’t broke, I’m not fixing it.”

Gabrielle Union has all of Hollywood talking. First of all, she looks like a model. And, she struts her stuff with the best of them. I’m sure she can give Candice Swanepoel some pointers.

Why is Gabrielle Union undervalued? I want to see her in more movies. The Omaha sweetie is ‘like a diamond treated like glass.’

Salma Hayek inspires every Latina. She is an older actress who paid her dues. She’s put skin in the game. The lady loves cinema.

Finally, keep an eye on Michelle Rodriguez. She’s destined for superstardom. I rank Rodriguez as the #1 Latina action actress.

As I got ready to write this post, I spilled coffee on my computer. Because I am a blogger my computer is a good friend. So, after nursing my computer back to health, I took some time to meditate.

I thought to myself why the heck am I rushing? Cool is not rushed. You all are cool. That’s why I strive for coolness everyday.

What is the Refrigeration Niche?

Would you like to know more about the Refrigeration Niche? It’s a new concept about how to live life, how to approach situations, and how to connect with people.

Think about Tom Cruise. He was always cool. Go in your dictionary and look up the word cool. If Tom Cruise’s photo is not in the text, then throw your dictionary in the trash. Ok, don’t actually do that. But, try to find a better dictionary.

I’m an accountant, so I love numbers. Jenny from the Block also has more than 95 percent favorability (likes versus dislikes). She is a solid brand. That’s why American Idol pays her $17.5 million dollars.
