Nicole and Jessica became famous by becoming what I call “TV Turn-ons.” The concept is: rather than turning on the TV you get turned on by the TV, stars specifically.
This happens in movies too. I call this “Movie Eye Candy.” Instead of eating Raisinets, Whoppers, and other candy at the movies, you become enthralled with the eye candy on the silver screen. Jennifer Lawrence and Channing Tatum are perfect examples of this trend.
Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica and The Simple Life were groundbreaking shows. There’s no doubt that Simpson and Nicole benefited immensely from their Reality TV stardom. More than 12 years later, their brands continue to strengthen.
Like Kim Kardashian, Richie and Simpson helped their family get famous as well. Plus, Paris Hilton helped her sister Nicky, who just married a Rothschild. It seems most reality stars aren’t caught up in sibling rivalry.

The socialite Nicole Richie recently wrapped up season 2 of her Candidly Nicole reality show. What is more, her business House of Harlow 1960 is growing an astounding rate. The mother of 2 is creating children’s apparel now.
As a side note, Jessica Simpson has 2 kids too.
