Before the Emmys air tonight celebrities are preparing speeches, making last minute adjustments, and putting on their final touches. Celebs can’t neglect a single detail because they might lose treasured scripts. Advertisers are evaluating endorsements. If their Hollywood stars gleam, we’ll see new contracts.
Here’s an analogy for college students. What the Oscars are to movies, the Emmys are to television. TV buffs should tune in tonight.
These are the most talented nominees ever. This year Netflix was the game changer. Netflix earned 34 nominations. Are you a House of Cards, Bloodline, and Derek fan? How couldn’t they nominate a President?
Have you noticed how many prominent movie stars recently received TV shows? It’s great for TV but bad for movies. Unfortunately, it appears actors are being overworked.

Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones earned Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Also, I expect the HBO TV show will win more awards than all others. Without Game of Thrones, TV would be pointless.
Both Blackish and Empire were nominated. Anthony Anderson received a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, while Taraji P. Henson was chosen for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama. Everything Lee Daniels touches turns to gold. So, I believe Henson will come away victorious.
3 months ago I proposed this question: Who is the funniest Amy? The Emmys may answer my inquiry since Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer are competing for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. I’m not Nostradamus. Edie Falco from Nurse Jackie could get it?
Why do the Emmys nominate new and outgoing shows? Also, an established show like Scandal should collect honors before newbie American Crime. Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire deserved recognition while they aired.

When I was a child I played the UFC video game for GameCube. I remember winning fights in under 30 seconds against Player 2 and the Computer. Right now Ronda Rousey can force tap outs in as little as 15 seconds.

Why is she special? First, she seems unbeatable. Secondly, Ronda looks like a supermodel.
I won’t say the judges are biased. But conducting yourself like Miss America has advantages. And Ronda’s perky personality is contagious.
Sure, the girl with ‘junk in her trunk’ talks trash. However, even the best product needs marketing. There’s media frenzy around Rousey because she dominates her opponents.
Plus, the Fighter of the Year could eventually win an Oscar. She shows a promising acting career. Let’s talk about Entourage, Expendables 3, and Furious 7. The fight scene with Michelle Rodriguez was unforgettable.

It is ironic the 28 year old used to bartend for a living. She went from mixing drinks to mixed martial arts. Ronda Rousey represents change.
It is important to acknowledge the best athletes regardless of sex. I believe deserving female sport stars should make more money. As long as Rousey stays on top, she should earn a top payday.
The UFC champion is one of the greatest because she is likely working out at the gym right this moment. Did you know she was an Olympian at Beijing? She learned Judo from her mother, who is an Olympics legend.

There’s something about Ronda. She doesn’t accept giveaways, freebies, or settle for seconds. She wants to work for her rewards. And doesn’t she work hard for the money? I would treat her right.

Ronda realizes she’s in a position to inspire people. Squirrels can’t crack this tough nut. In a nutshell, Ronda Rousey is a sport and movie star with a bright future.

For the love of entertainment, I hope she becomes Superwoman. You can’t honestly compare her to Scarlett Johansson or Jennifer Lawrence without factoring Captain America and Hunger Games into your equation. To her credit, you must recognize her enormous contributions.
Red Riding Hood, Jennifer’s Body, and Chloe come to mind when discussing Amanda’s exceptional filmography. She’s young enough to experience incredible breakthroughs. Don’t you think the celebrity doesn’t desire hundreds of additional stalkers? Anyway, her showings are fantastic. From Big Loveto Lovelace, what’s not to love about Amanda Seyfried?

Seyfried played a cute pot smoking lawyer in Ted 2all too well. The doll-faced girl displays a great sense of humor. Amazingly, she can laugh at her sexy curves while in front of a mirror.
Applaud the actress for choosing controversial roles throughout her illustrious career. As a Millennial, Amanda is living out the elusive American Dream. However, show business was made for this hot Hollywood starlet to sparkle.
They say, “there’s no business like show business.” Moreover, there’s no actress like Amanda Seyfried. I believe I’m watching a ballerina dance. Amanda keeps acting as if she’s a starving artist. She craves excellence.
What director doesn’t want to direct Amanda? I never seen a performer more devoted to performance arts. She does the necessary duties that some actors feel are beneath them. That’s why the celeb can work with everybody. Plus, the jaw dropping beauty commands extra attention.

Tracy Morgan’s unfortunate car accident reminds you to cherish your loved ones. Come to grips with reality and concentrate on good times. Remember the importance of family and friends because as my father always says: “You’re here today, and gone today.” You aren’t promised tomorrow or anything for that matter.
I’ve watched this man Tracy Morgan mature through the years. He’s still off the wall but never out the loop. He’s cozy in his own skin. Talk about a comedian with timeless material.
The celebrity returns to Saturday Night Livethis season better than ever. My mother instilled in me: “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” I believe Tracy Morgan is stronger as a comedian since the calamity. Now, he has a message more potent than painkillers Vicodin and Morphine combined. If laughter makes the best medicine, comedians make the best pharmacists.

Unfortunately, Tracy lost a near and dear friend in the tragic crash. He saw his friend’s funeral on YouTube because the celeb was in a coma during the burial. Thankfully, Morgan’s wife and young daughter weren’t there inside the vehicle.
I won’t make this a sad story.
Morgan gets paid to make you laugh. His funny bone extends an extra 3 inches. Also, Tracy knows a few things about hustling.

Who thought Glee would last forever? Great things require closure. Glee was a great show with a great cast. Moreover, Glee cast members Lea Michele and Naya Rivera stood out because of their greatness.
I really don’t know how the show managed to maintain the two phenomenal actresses under contract for so long. You look back and see a program with limitless possibilities. Lea and Naya are fine actresses and amazing musicians. It is a joy watching their careers launch off from their starting points.
I’m firmly against bandwagon jumping. I’m an Early Adopter. And I’m a diehard supporter.
I support Lea Michele and Naya Rivera as individuals and brands, because they are more than rising stars. They are shooting stars! The elite Latina entertainers have everybody chitchatting.
I pay close attention to trends and tune out gossip. By checking up on who is hot, you learn what is happening now. I like Lea and Naya because they’re hard workers with easygoing attitudes.
