Prince, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah made music better. The 3 music makers rejuvenated rock, pop, and R&B genres. They literally transformed sounds.


No one could have sang Purple Rain like Prince. Who else other than Whitney could hit that amazing “And I Will Always Love You” high note? And only Aaliyah could have sang One In a Million.


Singers keep imitating these artists because their pieces last forever. Not just every song, every sound was high quality. Their voices were made to be recorded inside recording booths.


Now Prince was a perfectionist. He challenged you to be great. Because his expectations were sky high, you expected more of yourself as a result. I feel Prince knew his abilities were supernatural.


Whitney Houston was an angel. Moreover, I don’t know if she realized how strong an effect she had on the world. All her music should be archived. It would be a shame to lose a single Whitney Houston song.


We all know Aaliyah died way too young. Despite an untimely death, within a short span of time she demonstrated greatness. Without question, she shined royally. I believe the Princess of R&B would have eventually collaborated with Prince.


Many associated the music artist with the color Purple because of his hit number 1 song and movie. Similarly, Michael Jackson’s name is synonymous with Thriller. However, I think it’s important to remember all the legends’ work because their entire music catalog deserves respect.
What are your favorite Prince songs? Do you like Party Like It’s 1999, I Wanna Be Your Lover, and When Doves Cry? Prince could party, make love, and tear up more than one thing. Like Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana, he made the guitar spill tears.


What are the best Whitney Houston’s songs? Exhale, I Have Nothing, My Love Is Your Love, I Wanna Dance with Somebody are some great ones. The Greatest Love of All songstress might have been the greatest singer of all time.

Iggy Azalea is one of the hottest rappers right now. Who can match her vocal intensity, provocative lyrics, and fluid flow? The Team singer plays the rap game like basketball.


She’s dribbling on records, tossing free throws in rhymes, and slam dunking on her foes. The Black Widow makes every verse count. Needless to say, she doesn’t need Nick Young to shoot 3 pointers for her. I’ve seen Iggy come up half court and do a Steph Curry.


You see Iggy Azalea teams up with the best people. She has collaborated with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, T.I., and Britney Spears. What is more, she’s changing before our very eyes.


At one point in time, all she received was bad news. Nowadays, Iggy’s name is associated with the best of times. Charles Dickens could have wrote a book about her if he were still alive. It would be titled The Tale of Two Iggies.


I like how she wears her hair. Does Iggy Azalea present the best possible image or what? She’s so seductive.


The Australian rapper satisfies everyone. Whether you drink Coke or Pepsi, you’ll enjoy Iggy. Like nostrils, your tastebuds never tell a lie. Moreover, this celebrity’s endorsement carries a lot of calories unlike Coke Zero and Diet Pepsi.


Has Iggy Azalea been dieting? How hot is Iggy Azalea? Doesn’t the entertainer look great in a bikini? Her Instagram photos tell only part of the story. At 26 years old, how sexier could she get posing on the beach and with Serena Williams?

It’s hard Keeping Up with the Kardashians. There are so many Kardashians to choose from. Do you want to know how to be like Kim? Will Robert marry Blac Chyna? Who prefers Khloe?


Whenever I ask people who their favorite Kardashian is, they say “Khloe” the majority of the time. What is it about Khloe Kardashian that people find fascinating? Is it sheer good looks? I believe I know the answer.


Khloe represents the ideal woman. Her body type isn’t too perfect. In other words, it’s achievable. She worked hard for her body and she treats it right.


Also, the celebrity’s personality suits the average person best. Out of all the Kardashians, people can relate to her the most. Plus she keeps it real.


Khloe can play any part given, but she plays herself. It makes the Paparazzi’s day to spot this celeb in a tight bikini. TV and showbiz is not the same without Kim’s little sister.


You must admire Khloe’s supportive and caring nature. She goes beyond the calls of duties. She’s a trooper, who understands what being a family unit is all about. The Kardashians/Jenners were able to profit from their thriving entertainment business by working together.


Give Kardashian extra credit for style. She stays in the news because making a fashion statement is a top priority. What is more, Khloe makes it look so easy. But it’s not easy keeping Kylie Jenner on track.

If you like the word love, you’ll like the name Manika. It’s only right to show some love to the How Can I Love songstress. Did you know this beauty is mixed with Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Malaysian, and Spanish? That’s a whole lot of loving right there. That’s not why I love her though.


You see Manika built a brand from scratch. She put the work in, while others just scratched off lottery tickets. She didn’t rely on luck. That’s why Manika became famous and got put on the map.


Plus, she toured with One Direction. And she’s authored books.


Instead of being a Disney princess, she’s a reality TV princess. Have you seen Global Beauty Masters? Have you heard her Love Line radio show? Manika has a mini-conglomerate.


She also sings and raps. How does she sleep? Hey, you’ve gotta be driven in order to do great things. Manika does what it takes. The girl is amazing.


What is more, her music also has a message. Sure, there are many fun songs from her album. You might like I Might Go Lesbian featuring Tyga.


Right now at 22, I believe by her 35th birthday, she could be bigger than Nicole Scherzinger. I like to see her star in a movie with Vanessa Hudgens as well. Like Hudgens, she is a legitimate multitalented/ triple threat celebrity. Her music style reminds me a lot of Fergie.


Moreover, Manika scores major points on creativity. Check out B.Y.O.Bugatti on YouTube. To create a song/ music video on that high level requires a significant amount of skill.  


The Las Vegas bred celebrity appeals to a very large demographic. Her fans are practically everywhere. With 1 million plus Twitter followers and over 3 million Facebook likes, people are listening. And Manika gives us what we love. Who loves Manika?

Who Do You Choose? James Corden Vs. Seth Meyers

Who do you watch late at night? After Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, James Corden and Seth Meyers comes on.  How can you watch both at the same time?  Who do you choose? It depends on what you want.
Go with James Corden for pure entertainment. He offers the full package. However, if you want some spin with your ride, Seth is the one.  Do I sound like a car salesman? That’s the point.


Picture buying a brand new set of wheels off my dealership…The James Corden or the Seth Meyers. They both provide premium entertainment at an affordable cost.


I remember the very first Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. Stevie Wonder was behind the steering wheel getting ready to drive. I’ve always been wonderful and from then on I became a James Corden fan.


The comedic actor’s performance in Begin Again was noteworthy. I also like how on The Late Late Show he calls everybody out at the same time plus his tag line “And this is The Late Late Show.”  I used to blog “This is the Guru Jay” when I first started.

Now, Seth Meyers handles his business. Having Fred Armisen play in the band was a brilliant move.  Bobby Fischer couldn’t make a bolder opening.


Seth Meyers uses satire like trash bags. He always throws away a joke. His Saturday Night Live days prepared him well.  I think he’s a better interviewer than James Corden.


But I feel JC is the best comedian. That’s saying a lot because I used to be more familiar with Seth.  And I love SNL like baseball. Who do I choose?


Entertainment-wise my first choice is James Corden. His show defines variety. He doesn’t have an issue with doing it all. On the flip side, I feel Myers specializes in political humor. Guess who majored in political science?


Does Seth Meyers remind you of Alex Keaton/ Michael J. Fox from Family Ties? At the end of the day it’s all about sense of humor. Both celebrities have sharp senses. Kinda cheesy?

I watched The Seven Year Itch a few months ago. In the movie, Marilyn Monroe showed why she was the ultimate sex symbol. All she had to do was be her sexy self. And she was too sexy for herself! I highly recommend The Seven Year Itch if you enjoy watching classic films.


She really was a work of art onscreen and off. Moreover, photographers fantasized about shooting photos of the Hollywood star in their studios. Only a few were lucky enough though to capture all her beauty and glory.


I believe Marilyn Monroe invented the sex symbol. There are actresses everywhere trying to look, act, and talk exactly like Monroe. You could argue that Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence are sex symbols because of Monroe’s popularity.  



Who is Hugh Hefner without Marilyn Monroe? Playboy came about because of their iconic spreads and Cover Girls. It seems this gorgeous California girl made Hollywood a landmark all by herself. You see there are a million Marilyn Monroe movies out there because she was one in a million.


It’s okay to be obsessed with Monroe. You have my permission. How many times have we’ve seen Marilyn’s image plastered on posters and calendars in offices, bars, and homes? Plus she may have one of the most famous silhouettes of all time.


Britney Spears picks up beauty tricks from Marilyn Monroe. That’s why the blonde is so effective from Reese Witherspoon to Cameron Diaz. Would you read a Monroe beauty book of secrets?

Do you watch daytime TV? Maybe you’re watching the Real right now. The Real is one of my favorite talk shows. There’s no other show quite like it.


I love the Real cast because they don’t hold anything back. Every last one of them makes a contribution. But, let’s be real…who does the best job?


  1. Loni Love

I’m partial toward comedians, so Loni Love gets the edge. Plus, she contributes more value to the show because of her humor. Who could forget her performance in Mall Cop 2, where she brings down the house?


Loni Love reminds me of a younger Whoopi. Does anyone else see the familiarity. They both have a similar style and stage presence. Loni controls the set like an air traffic controller.
  1. Tamera Mowry

The Sister Sister starlet has transformed into a reality TV supernova. Without question, Tamera adds class and a mixture of spice. We value her opinions because she’s honest about her life.


The wife and mother is relatable to her audience. Tamera opens up and tells the truth about herself. What is more, she’s a strong believer in God.

As the youngest sibling, I can identify with Tamar. She is smart, talented, generous, and kind. Braxton would rank higher but she’s absent sometimes. On the other hand, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
