Music fans love listening to Mariah Carey and Beyoncé Knowles. The sparkling songstress Mariah has dominated for decades. And Queen Bee doesn’t appear to be abdicating her throne right now.
Hero was the first Carey song I remember hearing. Her elegant voice connected with my soul. Moreover, I can listen to Mariah forever.
Survivor was the first Destiny’s Child music video I recall watching. Ever since, I’ve always known Knowles was bound for greatness. She’s developed into an irreplaceable juggernaut.


Because the delightful diva left the group on good terms, a Destiny’s Child reunion tour is very possible. I suggest sister Solange Knowles come on board. They just need to do the damn thing.
I can’t downplay Mariah Carey’s importance to music. Not many come close to what she has accomplished in show business. What is more, the superstar is still capable of recording Platinum singles.
Mariah pushes her pitch to the extreme. That’s why her throat needs tender love and care. She is Minnie Riperton 2.0. In addition, Carey is in the upper echelon of entertainers.
Dream girl Beyoncé reminds me of Madonna and Diana Ross put together. Can you picture a Carey collaboration? There’s a reason the Academy continually nominates the Queen.
Even though Mariah Carey had a short stint on American Idol, the show significantly raised her profile, especially among the youth. It was the clash of the titans between Mariah and Nicki Minaj.
Every chance Beyoncé gets she sends a shout out to her hometown Houston. Tourists are exchanging their I heart New York t-shirts for I heart Texas tank tops. Meanwhile music lovers are listening to their favorite singers on I Heart Radio.
How can the Academy justify not giving Beyoncé album of the year? I watched the Grammys and was very disappointed Beck walked away with the top prize. But the diva handled the disgraceful display like a champ. She doesn’t need validation from an awards ceremony because the fans have spoken.
Imagine if Knowles focused solely on acting. She would win an Oscar. What if Carey and Knowles played in the same film? If you like music in movies, watch Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records, and Glitter.

What are your favorite Mariah Carey songs? I like My All, We Belong Together and the E=MC2 album.
Both artists respect each other’s craft. It’s clear Beyoncé benefits from Carey’s brilliant career. That’s why the celebs are good friends. Also, Carey acknowledges Queen Bee’s reign because superstars embrace the best.
Knowles has proven her talents with songs Crazy in Love, Halo, and Partition. What else can she prove? Beyoncé is the ‘baddest,’ hottest, and most electric entertainer in action.
In the words of Mariah Carey “Don’t forget about us.” Remember all she wants for Christmas is you. In my mind, Mariah Carey is the all time number 1 female vocalist.

Without question the multitalented Beyoncé is the complete package. How does she move like that on the dance floor? Didn’t Jennifer Lopez say, “You’re mesmerized by the size of it?”

Mariah Carey and Beyoncé changed the music business by dominating the market. Both musicians firmly established their imprints on the industry. Plus, they’re every man’s fantasy.

Recently, Shakira amassed 100 million Facebook likes, setting a Guinness World Record. Socially, what celebrity can compete with the musician’s global appeal and international recognition? Evidentially, the Beautiful Liar songstress leads more followers than Twitter suggests.
As her ship’s captain, the Colombian singer steals booty like a Caribbean pirate. Because she sings in Spanish and English, her influence reaches twice as many people. Who affects more individuals than the Latin American sensation?
In a nutshell, Shakira became a quadruple threat by consistently creating exciting movements. Judging by her body of work, the music lover likes dancing and keeping her lovely figure. Anatomically, Shakira defines sexiness with her curvaceous physical structure.
If Kim Kardashian supposedly broke the Internet, then the Can’t Remember to Forget You celebrity breaks YouTube all the time. The Bohemian is iconic and legendary in entertainment circles. According to Forbes, the entertainer resides in Nassau, Bahamas.


The Whenever Wherever musician maintains a relentless mentality and elevated attitude. What is more, Shakira seems confident and capable. Though the first-class entertainer plays multiple instruments, she doesn’t play second fiddle.

Furthermore, the multi-talented celebrity keeps muliti-millions in her Swiss and Cayman bank accounts. It makes perfect sense why she isn’t an American citizen… One word: taxes. Facebook cofounder Eduardo Saverin renounced his American citizenship in order to avoid taxation before the social media company’s historic Initial Public Offering.  
If they were stocks, I would buy Shakira before Madonna. While the Material Girl pays better dividends, the She Wolf has a higher valuation. Although they’re both sex symbols, the Colombian singer commands more attention.

When Nicki Minaj started rapping, she couldn’t sell a record. Everyone viewed her as a gimmick and one trick pony. But after years of experimenting, Nicki Minaj found her place.
Rolling Stone adorned their cover with an enticing image of the outspoken rapper. Unfortunately, the magazine bumped off her buddy Drake for Philip Seymour Hoffman. Apparently, there isn’t any bad blood between the media and the Hip-Hop community anymore.
Iggy Azalea
In contrast, Iggy Azalea achieved instant recognition. Unlike Nicki, Iggy Azalea came out of the woodworks with Timberlands, an ax to grind, and a chainsaw. However, Nicki Minaj accused the Aussie celebrity of using a ghostwriter.
Iggy Azalea profusely denies Nicki Minaj’s allegations. Nicki Minaj is not jealous of Iggy’s success. However, she’s envious of the Australian beauty’s momentum.

Why Nicki Wins
Nicki Minaj wins the rap battle because no female rapper matches her accomplishments. In fact, many male Hip-Hop artists cannot hold a candlestick to Nicki Minaj’s birthday cake. The platinum singer was
the first and only rapper to judge American Idol.
The celebrity clearly learned how to make impactful music and market her brand. What a 180-degree turnaround! She’s vulgar, inflammatory, and hardcore.

Why Iggy Can’t Lose
In order to reach superstardom, Iggy Azalea needs time to develop and to maximize her full potential. Iggy’s already an influential Australian prodigy. The Black Widow rapper has a coldblooded heart and venomous veins.
Prima donna contests are like beauty pageants. Nicki must relinquish her crown to another princess. Iggy Azalea is a strong contender and a future champion.

Who do you like the best Jennifer Lopez or Justin Timberlake?

Before Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez entertained millions. What is more, she still wows the crowd with her versatile skills. She sings, acts, dances, produces, and judges to perfection.

JLO is simultaneously confident and humble. Did you know she began as a dancer? Yes, indeed… and, that’s why the Latina deserves our respect.

Newbies should pay close attention to her career. She turned nothing into something. And, Lopez made a lot from a little.

As a result of her success, she is internationally recognized and universally accepted. No one denies her talent. It is truly amazing to watch her in action.


Jennifer is the first to say she got it from her mama. JLO is a sweetheart. Her image is intact.

She is a fine actress and dancer.  She’s also a superb singer. You can’t say one bad thing about her.

You appreciate the fact she stays grounded. Jennifer is not vying for attention. She’s not desperate at all.

So, why can’t we get enough of her? The answer: because she is gifted. Here lies the “Kim Kardashian problem.”

You may argue Kardashian is better looking than Lopez. I give you that because Kim is younger and more self-absorbed. The two beauties are both very pleasing to the senses.

But, JLO has talent. So, JLO is way more entertaining than Kim. That’s a fact.


The Puerto Rican American Idol can do everything at a high level. There is a difference. She’s terrific in all areas.

She is one of the most talented female entertainers in show business. I believe Beyoncé is entertainer of the year though. Although I love Beyoncé, her acting is not as great as JLO. Singing is a different story. Beyoncé’s pipes are flawless.

Now, you must understand Jennifer Lopez paid her dues. She received her big break while starring in the biopic Selena. I’ve seen this movie 100 times and not by choice.

If you ever take a Spanish class, you will have to watch Selena. I didn’t mind seeing it 99 times because JLO is just awesome. But 100 times, is 1 too many.

Who remembers the Wedding Planner? Did you see the Cell, Maid in Manhattan and Monster-in-Law? Did you know Jennifer Lopez is the richest Hollywood actress?

As you can see, Justin Timberlake along with Britney Spears started on the Disney channel.  Timberlake has been in the entertainment business at least 20 years. Remember, you are rewarded for longevity.

As you put more skin in the game, your name gets bigger. This is the key to fame. Ask Lady Gaga.

If you do anything long and good enough, you become an expert. It’s safe to say Justin is a premier entertainer. Like JLO, Justin has a variety of professional skills.

He sings, dances and produces. By the way, Timberlake is a great actor. One day I can see him winning an Oscar. He came close with the In Time movie. Nobody is more dedicated than Timberlake. He puts on his suit and tie and goes to work despite not having a typical 9 to 5 job.



Do you remember when Justin took a hiatus from singing to focus solely on acting? He gave up easy money for the sake of his profession. Talk about commitment!

His wife Jennifer Beal is in Seventh Heaven, because Justin Timberlake commits 110 percent. He hosted Saturday Night Live five times. He played in the Facebook movie. And, Justin deserves credit for his business savvy.

To the contrary, Timberlake is a better singer than actor unlike Jennifer who is a great actress. Here’s a thought: how about making a movie or music video featuring JLO and Justin. I would like to see that. Would you?

If you’re a young man, use Justin Timberlake as a role model. He takes care of business then pleasure. It should always be a pleasure doing business.

I live by the motto: be cool and have fun. Nobody has more fun than JTimberlake. He acts, sings and looks cool. The girls think he’s hot.

You know Justin was a Disney Kid. Did you also know he was in the boy band N’Sync? Here’s video proof.


Justin Timberlake is on top of the world right now. His acting career is just beginning. He’s successful because he’s rare. 

When you get famous, don’t forget to develop your talents in other areas. Not only will you make more money, you will garner more respect. Seize your opportunities like JLO and Timberlake.

Someday soon Justin will reach the point where he doesn’t have to audition. Screenwriters will write roles specifically with Timberlake in mind. Jennifer Lopez is already there and so is Jamie Foxx.

Jamie Foxx is underrated. The actor/musician/comedian wears many hats.  If you ask me, he’s probably the most gifted man in the entertainment industry. The movie Ray starring Foxx is an absolute must-see.

However, Justin Timberlake is too big to ignore. He’s the definition of mainstream. He has global appeal and world wide reach. You won’t build a brand bigger than Timberlake.

Newbies take note. He is not arrogant. He is confident and humble like Jennifer Lopez. My advice is to build your confidence and practice humility. This is all about reputation.
