House of Cards Season 3: Episode 3 Recap

Starring as President Underwood, Kevin Spacey is setting the tone for season 3. In episode 3, Underwood meets with Russian President Petrov, first at the State Dinner, then at the Oval office. The recently divorced Petrov is the world’s most eligible bachelor.
At first glance, Underwood and his highly esteemed guest hit it off until Petrov starts screwing with the First Lady. From that point forward, Underwood scrutinizes the Russian President’s every action.
Petrov leads invited politicians and celebrities in drinking games. The leader insists this is according to Russian tradition, but I don’t buy that baloney. Everyone keeps drinking, obeying Petrov’s command, and accepting Communism except for Pussy Riot.

Pussy Riot disrupts President Petrov’s toast making an unforgettable exit.
When will Michael Kelly’s character former White House Chief of Staff Doug Stamper get the message? The administration has written Stamper off as a liability. Recall Stamper started the season helpless in a hospital. Now, he can’t sit still because the character wants to continue working for Underwood.
President Frank makes good on his promise and the First Lady becomes the United Nations Ambassador. Claire develops a strategic and romantic relationship with Secretary of State Catherine Durant. Jayne Atkinson plays secretaries like Maggie Gyllenhaal, Hillary Clinton, and Condoleezza Rice combined.
Additionally, Underwood plans to make the Solicitor General a Supreme Court Justice. However, an elderly justice who’s in the early stages of the Alzheimer’s disease, doesn’t want to relinquish his position. The evil pork-loving President effectively threatens to publicly expose the Justice’s illness.

Although the POTUS told the Democratic leadership and America he rather govern than campaign for office nobody really believes him. Understand Underwood engages in doublespeak and secretly worships Satan. Democrats remind the President no one elected him every blue moon.  

This House of Cards episode not only shows the importance of strong foreign policy but how easily outside forces influence the United States government and how corruption spreads rampant.

10. Lindsay Lohan 8.84 Million

If you’re throwing a party, invite LiLo to make an appearance. Not only can Lindsay boogie on down, she’s a major attraction. The tenth most followed Twitter actor soaks in the limelight and receives re-tweets galore.
9. Stephen Fry 8.91 Million

Englander Stephen Fry comes in at number nine. Furthermore, Fry is one of the most engaging Tweeters because Stephen is influential as a gay rights spokesperson. The actor is literally a Twitter giant standing at a whopping 6’5”.
8. Russell Brand 9.23 Million

Fellow Englishman Russell Brand brings energy to the Top 10 list. In my opinion, Brand makes a better actor than comedian. Don’t get me wrong, Russell’s funny like Fry. But, I’m biased because I believe Americans are funnier and naughtier by nature. “You down with O.P.P.? Yeah, you know me!”
7. Tom Hanks 9.49 Million

Lucky number seven on Twitter is arguably the greatest actor of all time- Tom Hanks. The actor saved the movie industry. He deserved to win Oscars for Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Philadelphia, and Saving Private Ryan. 
6. Charlie Sheen 11.4 Million

Reportedly, Leonardo DiCaprio aka Romeo threw Rihanna an elaborate surprise birthday festivity. All of entertainment’s movers and shakers showed up to the occasion. Canadian actor/comedian Jim Carrey currently ranks fourth. The movie star showed a different side in the Number 23. While we’re discussing digits, Carrey will soon pass 14 million followers.

This multi-talented and triple threat celebrity happens to go by three names. Neil Patrick Harris personifies Hollywood’s finest. Obviously, hosting the Oscars is his career highlight. But, his cameos in the Harold and Kumar franchise are beyond hilarious.

Who’s Watching Empire? Recap Part III- Brother’s Gonna Work It Out

Empire goes by the slogan “Have everybody talking Thursday.” Well, Guru Jay will talk about it Wednesday. In my opinion, Unto the Breach is the second best episode.
Here’s an off the cuff response for your reading pleasure.
Empire proves that all families have problems. What is more, society must confront pressing issues with compassion and empathy.
Unfortunately, every empire eventually collapses. However, Lucious Lyon and family are just beginning. I predict the IPO will happen. And Anika Calhoun will change sides once again.
You see Empire puts the fun in dysfunctional. We all can relate to these characters in someway. Furthermore, we’ve dealt with scheming and shiesty snakes such as: bitter Baretti. Maybe, you are one tough Cookie yourself.
Andre, played by Trai Byers, is bipolar and experienced a mental breakdown causing involuntary hospitalization. What an emotional ending…
Meanwhile, Baretti clarifies to Anika that his quarrel with Lucious is extremely personal. Now, understand there is a Saint Louis but not a Saint Lucious.
Lucious’ past haunts him every night. While I sympathize with ALS, Lyon is a stone cold killer. Not to mention, he’s stuck on stupid with his outdated ideas and preconceived notions.
Clearly, the spotlight shined on Trai Byers tonight. His performance warrants an Emmy. The elevator scene with the three brothers shook millions of living rooms.
Moreover, Jussie Smollett and Estelle’s Conqueror duet delivered a timely and positive message.
The writers and actors are in sync. This TV show has superb synergy.
I started the discussion earlier than usual because I want to be first this time. Also, Empire deserves more than just an honorable mention. Lee Daniels and Danny Strong win blue ribbons.
Truly, I don’t know what will happen but I’m fascinated by what could transpire. The three brothers are more united. Willie Hutch was right; brothers will work it out.

Who Are the Top 10 Richest Athletes? With Video

Who are the richest athletes? This blog post acknowledges the highest paid in sports. Don’t forget to check out the accompanying video.

At number 10, Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan represents the only professional football player on the list. Tennis phenomenon Rafael Nadal follows Ryan. Then, pro golfer Phil Mickelson comes in 8th.
I am shocked that no baseball players make the top 10 because Major League Baseball clubs notoriously sign lucrative long-term contracts. Then again, endorsements play a considerable role in total earnings. Number 6 Tiger Woods still endorses products but at a discount. Once Tiger starts winning Majors, his salary might triple with a premium.

Chronically injured and Basketball Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant grabs the fifth spot. Let’s hope the shooting guard recovers to full strength because when healthy Kobe is the most entertaining sportsman on Earth. Laker fans love snakes including the Black Mamba.
Great soccer forward Lionel Messi ranks 4th. Have you seen his fast and quick footwork? Who can stop the speedy Lionel from dribbling?

LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Floyd Mayweather take the top 3 spots. This is befitting because they are the best athletes in their sports.

LeBron is the greatest all around all-star since Magic Johnson. How about Ronaldo, who is the most famous soccer star playing today? Finally, undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather built a name and bank account that the sport of boxing will remember forever. On May 2 2015, the best defensive prizefighter matches against the most lethal offensive attack, the magnificent Manny Pacquiao. Bet Mayweather will be number 1 again next year.
Lucky number 7 Roger Federer has something in common with Mayweather besides money making. In 1998, the tennis prodigy turned professional while still a teenager. Furthermore, Federer continually competes at the highest level like Mayweather, defying the laws of physics relating to distance/ time.

Jessica Alba attracts attention whether at the bronze beach in a bikini or on the silver screen in lingerie. Don’t doubt her talent and business savvy. The Fantastic Four actress capitalizes on her exterior. Likewise, her gentle interior reveals a perky spirit with a big heart.
Rather than giving sporadic acts of sassiness, Jessica gives random acts of kindness. Alba’s charitable donations are well documented. More celebrities and entertainers should give free hugs instead of destroying private property.
Jessica Alba has been acting almost her whole life. She has impeccable timing and great location. Fortunately, the actress was raised near Los Angeles. Alba also attended the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company.
After watching Awake, I finally realized Jessica could transform like a chameleon. A true thespian should switch shapes on cue. Moreover, Jessica no longer acts square. She complements because of her experience in romantic comedies aka chick flicks.
If you haven’t seen Good Luck Chuck don’t see it with your mom. Seriously, the nudity goes way overboard. To my point, Alba is one of the better romantic actors in cinema. Frankly, she is the brunette version of blonde Cameron Diaz. Otherwise, the celebrities are the exact same person with identical fingerprints.
Every actor must discover his or her identity before succeeding on a large scale. The petite actress, known as Jessie Girl, has embraced her skin and propelled to superstardom. Have you seen Sin City?

How Maxwell and Miguel Changed Music

Maxwell independently produces his music. So the media rarely features the singer/songwriter in headlines. Still, the soulful musician ranks favorably in the upper echelon.
Maxwell is a mixture of Al Green and Marvin Gaye. Who’s smoother in style and voice than Maxwell? His closest contemporaries are Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Robin Thicke.
Preservation is key in all things; and, Maxwell has preserved his vocal chords allowing him more minutes in the studio and show time. His passion inspires and engages many listeners.
The media always glosses over Miguel’s excellence. They magnify Bruno Mars and Katy Perry at the expense of other great music artists. Miguel may not have 2 billion YouTube views or 10 million fake Twitter followers, but he has an authentic sound.

Along with strong songwriting skills, Miguel has Beethoven’s ear and Van Gogh’s eye for detail. When Miguel starts touring the world, his target audience will gravitate to him because he’s already laid a firm foundation. Furthermore, it’s critical for celebrities to raise their profiles.
I can literally listen to only Maxwell and Miguel music all day. This Woman’s Work and Adorn are two of my favorites. Name your favorite Maxwell and Miguel songs.
While driving from class, I frequently heard Miguel’s Sure Thing on the radio. I eventually found the song on YouTube and learned more about Miguel. Now, I’m a big a fan. By the way, Sure Thing should have won a Grammy.
Since music changed, musicians had to adopt. What is more, Maxwell and Miguel forever changed music because they’re uniquely different from typical singers. Neither artist is against experimenting. In fact, they’re known to try new things.
Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys have collaborated with Maxwell and Miguel. Divas bring their most expensive goods. And the best work with the best.

Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio is the best actor alive? How can you argue with his gigantic box office numbers and amazing body of work? Leonardo DiCaprio has developed into a powerful and unstoppable force in Hollywood, because he delivers great performances at will.
What director doesn’t want to associate with DiCaprio? Leonardo is the most talented and naturally gifted actor in the industry. Scorsese, Spielberg, Tarantino, and Eastwood practically got on both knees in order to work with DiCaprio.
What actor doesn’t dream of working alongside Leonardo? Jonah Hill worships at DiCaprio’s throne. While filming Wolf of Wall Street, Jonah latched onto Leonardo like a parasite.
DiCaprio’s name matters like Nicholson, De Niro, Pacino, and Clooney. Internationally, Leonardo’s brand is highly visible.

 
What are the best Leonardo DiCaprio movies?
Besides the Titanic, I recommend Inception, the Departed, and the Great Gatsby. Anything that DiCaprio touches turns to gold, silver, or bronze. Leonardo is an Olympian who competes in acting and film producing.

Hopefully, in the future DiCaprio will direct. He’s too talented not to teach aspiring actors. Leonardo is the best because the celebrity makes his colleagues perform better.
Watch the Wolf of Wall Street, and you’ll see how much Margot Robbie and Kyle Chandler lean on Leonardo DiCaprio’s gesturing, movements, and expertise. DiCaprio mastered the game since 2000 with the Beach movie. In 2002, Daniel Day-Lewis played supporting actor, while Leonardo starred in Gangs of New York. Furthermore, no movie star supersedes DiCaprio…not Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, or Johnny Depp.
